Rules and Guidelines - The Condensed Version
Read them, obey them.
1. No Out of Character insults.
Do not flame another member. This is not acceptable, and may result in your being removed from the board.
2. No Explicit Sexual Content
Some sexual content is expected but think of it this way - if your text or images can't be viewed by a 13-year old, don't post it. If you wonder if it's acceptable, most likely it's not. Don't post it.
3. No IC/OOC Crossing
IC you have a persona in RBCR, play that. OOC you are yourself - be yourself. Don't confuse the two.
4. Do not use Copywritten Work Without Permission (click here for more information)
5. Post in the Correct Areas
Very simple rule, your in character posts should go into the in character sections, questions in the questions and answers board, discussions in the discussions board and so on.
6. No Spamming
Do not repeat post links to other forums/websites, you can have one thread for it, per website.
7. Limit Signature Sizes
Limit sizes to a max of 300 pixels high (each line of text counts as 10 pixels) and 600 pixels wide.
We will not bend on this. Heavy graphics make the pages more difficult to load.
8. Do not spam your biter link
Do not post your biter link here in threads, through PM's or member's emails. Period.
9. If you've been banned from another site for inappropriate behavior or breaking the rules, you will be automatically be given warning by our staff and placed under watch
Note: Large Avvies/Avatars are private and hence were paid for. We have made this clear when picking from our list by saying "do not use the following". Please be respectful.
ICC Guidelines:
01. Limit Power-Playing
If you are weak in the game, you should not be roleplaying a god or someone who is extremely strong, we will help you figure out powers that may be useful for you and the skills you wish to use.
02. Display In Game Names (IGN)
Fill out your profile with your In Game Name. (If you can not change it for some reason, please contact a member of the staff)
Also you are required to have your IGN to post in any of the IC sections (unless you are new without a IGN yet)
**We are having an issue with the coding for this we shall get it up and running, no one will get in trouble without it but please post in the correct areas, and if asked for your IGN please give it**
03. Display In Game Power Average(GPA)
In your profile fill out GPA with the number of powers you have in the game (Every level of a power is counted).
**Issues with the coding this rule at the time is on a standstill until we are able to fit it.**
04. 1 IGN per Member Account
You should only have 1 main IGN per account. If you make a NPC account for one of your characters, inform us so we can mark it NPC, you are allowed (1) NPC with permission from the staff members depending WHAT the reason for the NPC is.
05. The Rebirth Rules- You can’t sire on this board without having 5 powers or more in the game. Each level of power counts as 1 added power. You are free to sire outside of this board, by other means without having the powers.
No force siring, unless the person has agreed to allow such things OOC. It is their choice to pick who their sire is. (If you break this rule you will be banned from The Rebirth section for two months)
New members, do not create more than one siring thread without closing your other thread (or asking us to delete it) To do this simply go to your first thread, and click modify on the first post.
People wanting to sire, should not open a thread claiming they are ready to sire.

RULES & GUIDELINES in Detail
We have Rules and Guidelines, the understanding of these are very simple. Guidelines are flexible and are in many ways just mini-rules you won’t be banned if you slip up every now an again, while rules are of course the big no-nos. Depending on what is going on, you can find yourself banned from this site.
With that said here are our rules and guidelines.
1. No Out of Character, insults
No insults, do not post insults for someone else, do not post them for yourself. Very simple.
You will get 2 chances to correct yourself on the third time around, if you break it, you are banned simple as that.
2. No Explicit Sexual Content
This means, your images, should always be covered, with towels, hands whatever, not descriptive sex scenes. This is a PG-16 site, not a PG13. Meaning basically that we find out you are under the age of 16 we will banned you until you are of age to be on this site. But just because it is for slightly older members of the game, it doesn’t mean that you can break this rule you get 1 chance to correct yourself the second time you break it you are banned.
An adultboard is available; Lucifer's Den. To gain access PM Cassandra, and she'll inform you of what she needs to grant you access.
3. No IC/OOC Crossing
This means that you shouldn’t take what is done to your character on yourself. Yes we understand that this can be upsetting but it is a game, and your character is not you, you are not the character. Keep that in mind. Do not use ooc information for ic reasons either.
We are only going to take care of this site, so if this happens on another board, in IMs we are not going to do anything. We do not rule that stuff and we can not stop you from doing so. Though you should make it clear if you are talking to the person ooc or ic make it clear from the start.
If you feel you are in real life danger please go to this site (Be Web Aware - Reporting Trouble), if you want to make sure you are not ‘over reacting’ you are free to bring it up to one of us in private.

We will not bend on this, nor is it a ‘stupid’ rule either. There are people who have old computers, and may still be on dial-up... and this should be just as fun for them as well as you. There is a File Size limit as well. Signatures must not exceed 250KB. Animated gif signatures tend to cause the pages to load slower for some members, we are just trying to be considerate of all. If you need help figuring out your file size you can ask anyone on the staff and they will do their best to help you -smiles- if you aren’t sure best to not use it until you are. 8. Do not spam your biter link
Keep them off the site threads, very simple. Do not mass send your biter link to anyone you haven’t sired either... if we find you are doing that, you will simply find yourself not allowed to sire on this board. Don’t like it? To bad, that’s life.

This means, if you’re banned from RBRP, The Whisper, any newspapers and so on. You already have you’re first warning, you will be watched. You will be expected to follow the rules to a T. You have gotten you’re first warning on the matter.
IC Guidelines
01. Limit Power-Playing

(For example - Shapeshifters (from one shape or the other) will find that Stamina is perhaps a really good power to have for such things)

Also you are required to have your IGN to post in any of the IC sections (unless you are new without a IGN yet)
03. Display In Game Powers (IGP)
In your profile you will find some added areas. Fill out IGP with the number of powers you have in the game (Every level of a power is counted).
Example: If you have Shadows 3, that counts as 3 powers.
If you have Shadows 3 and Telepath 2, that counts as 5 powers.
You may put FP for fully powered.
Also in the profile you may add if you have a Battlecloak or Neutral levels (these are not counted as powers)
04. 1 IGN per Member Account
You are free to have NPCs and use them with your Main Account. However NPCs shouldn't 'date' those who have IGN characters. Also, you should only have 1 main IGN per account. (You are free to have minor roles which have IGNs played out on the same account.) Please if you make a NPC account for one of your characters, inform us so we can mark it NPC, you are allowed (1) NPC with permission from the staff members depending WHAT the reason for the NPC is.
05. The Rebirth Rules
- You can’t sire on this board without having 5 powers or more in the game. Each level of power counts as 1 added power. You are free to sire outside of this board, by other means without having the powers.

Copyright Laws:
There are two main types of Copyright, unpublished and published. Many characters, on here, are unpublished copywritten and can be simply cleared up by adding something like the following:
Your Pen Name/Real Name © year
The other are things that are published, such as Ann Rice or Stephen King published worked. Basically, you can’t claim it as yours if you didn’t write it or make it. So you shouldn’t. Some people on this site, are writers, while unpublished writers, they hold their characters to heart. Most cases, if they have opened the character up here you are only free to talk about their characters.
You should for no reason, write as their character for dreams or anything of that sort. You should NEVER talk for their characters or move their characters. (This comes into power playing as well) without their permission first.
Copyright able works include intellectual property such as web sites, computer code, software, databases, literary works, music, lyrics, dramatic works, writings, poetry, graphic and sculptural works, motion pictures, audiovisual works, sound recordings, and architecture.
If you are not sure, please contact a member of the staff and we will check to see if we can find out. Please put in the name of the show/movie/book/anime as well as the writer, and any other information you can think of to help with this search.

Dit is een vertaling van de Regels en Gedragscodes.
De gedragscodes zijn flexibel en in meerdere opzichten zijn het eigenlijk gewoon kleine regeltjes waarvoor je niet gebanned wordt als je af en toe een foutje maakt, en... de regels moeten gehoorzaamt worden.
1. Geen Out of Character beledigingen
Geen beledigingen; maak geen posts om anderen te beledigen, noch voor anderen om te beledigen.
Je krijgt 2 kansen om jezelf te verbeteren, 3e keer... en je wordt gebanned.
2. Geem expliciete seksuele inhoud
Dit betekent dat je plaatjes geen naaktheid mogen bevatten, en geen beschrijvende sex scenes. Dit is een site met 16+ regeling, niet 13+. Ben je onder de 16, wordt je gebanned totdat je de leeftijd hebt bereikt.
Maar hoewel er oudere leden zijn betekend dit niet dat je deze regel mag verbreken, je hebt 1 kans om jezelf te verbeteren, 2e waarschuwing is verbanning.
Er is een 18+ bord beschikbaar, genaamd Lucifer's den, hier zijn dit sort posts wel toegestaan, om toegang te krijgen stuur je een PM naar Cassandra, en zij zal aangeven wat je moet doen om toegaan te krijgen.
3. Geen IC/OOC kruising
Dit betekend dat je niet de dingen die met jouw karakter gebeuren mag laten overvloeien naar jezelf, ja het kan je van streek maken, maar... dit is een spel en je karakter ben jij niet. Onthoud dit. Gebruik ook geen informatie die jij als persoon hoort over een ander karakter, als je eigen karakter.
We houden alleen toezicht op deze site, dus als dit ergens anders gebeurt, kunnen en zullen wij hier niets aan doen.
Het beste wat je kan doen is direct aangeven of je IC of OOC aan het spreken bent.
Als je het gevoel hebt in echt gevaar te zijn, ga naar deze site (Be Web Aware- Reporting Trouble), als je zeker wilt zijn dat je niet overdrijft, ben je vrij één van de staff aan te spreken voor hun mening
4. Gebruik geen werk waar een copyright opstaat, zonder toestemming (klik hier voor meer informatie)
5. Post in de juiste secties
Simplele regel: je karakter moet in IC borden plaatsen, vragen in het vraag&antwoord bord etc.
6. Geen Spam
Maak geen herhaalde links naar andere forums/websites, je mag 1 thread hebben per site.
7. Het limiet voor de grootte van je banner is 300 pixels hoog (elke regel text telt als 10 pixels) en 600 pixels breed.
Dit komt omdat er mensen zijn die oudere computers hebben, en hierdoor hun snelheid op de site verliezen.
Er is ook een bestandgrootte limiet van 250 KB, je mag een stafflid vragen om hulp als je het niet zeker weet.
8. Spam je biter-link niet.
Post je biter-link (je spellink) niet in een thread op deze site, stuur deze niet massaal naar iedereen.
IC Gedragscodes
01. Voorkom Power-Playing zoveel mogelijk
Als je zwak bent in het spel, moet je niet spelen alsof je een god bent, of iemand met extreme krachten, en Power-playing houdt ook in: niet de reacties van anderen voor hen bepalen.
Wij kunnen je helpen te kijken welke krachten je nodig hebt voor een bepaalde gave.
02. Toon je In Game naam (IGN)
Vul in je profiel je In Game naam in, als je het niet kan veranderen voor een of andere reden, neem contact op met de staff. Je moet ook je IGN tonen om toegang te hebben om te posten in IC secties (behalve als je nog geen IGN hebt)
03. Toon In Game Krachten (IGP)
In je profiel kan je je In Game krachten toevoegen, gebaseerd op de verschillende levels in het spel per kracht
Voorbeeld: met Shadows 3, telt dat als 3 krachten, als je shadows 3 en telepathy 2 hebt, telt dat dus als 5 krachten
Je mag FP invullen als je alle krachten hebt (Second-sight is hierbij niet per se nodig)
Je kan ook in je profiel invullen of je een Battlecloak of Neutral hebt in het spel, deze tellen niet als krachten.
04. 1 IGN per lidmaatschap
Je mag zoveel NPCs (non playable characters) hebben als je wil, en ze gebruiken met je hoofd account, deze NPCs zouden niet moeten daten met IGN karakters. Verder mag je maar 1 hoofd IGN hebben per account (je bent vrij om kleine rollen met IGNs te hebben)
Als je een NPC account aanmaakt voor een NPC, laat ons het weten zodat we hem zo kunnen markeren, maar je mag hiervoor maximaal 1 gebruiken met de reden, we hebben liever dat je ze met je main account speelt.
05. The Rebirth Regels
- Je mag niemand op dit bord in een vampier veranderen zonder meer dan minstens 5 krachten in het spel. Je buiten het bord iemand veranderen (met gebruik van je biterlink)
- Geen geforceerde verandering tenzij je dit overlegd en afgesproken hebt met de persoon die je wilt veranderen. Zij hebben zelf de keus wie ze als 'sire' kiezen, ookal ben jij bv. eerst.
Je wordt 2 maanden van dit bord gebanned als je deze regel niet aanhoud
- Maak als nieuwe member op zoek naar een 'sire' niet meer dan 1 topic hierover zonder het sluiten/verwijderen van de anderen.
- Als je een 'sire' wilt worden, moet je reageren op de nieuwe members die een 'sire' zoeken, en niet zelf een topic aanmaken om het aan te bieden.
