She couldn't help but smile in excitement as she prepared to go out for her date. She knew she loved him, that she would do anything for him, but this was to be their first official date and she couldn't believe that it was finally coming to pass. She had her worries, considering the fact that he was still married and all and she hated what her happiness would do to his wife. There was just this intense connection that she felt with him, one she'd known for some time and become friends with first. They had tried to resist these feelings for some time, but the time had come where they could no longer resist their own feelings. After observing her typical evening ritual of watching the sun move into it's nightly resting spot, the colors moving from bright and golden into the azures of the night. Once it was all settled down she moved into the bathroom to ready herself for the exciting evening ahead. After a shower and after taking the time to get cleaned and dried off she moved to her closet and sorted through what she had in search of the perfect dress. She had more formal gowns and less formal outfits, not to mention her typical flowy short black skirt and corset. She didn't want to seem to forward, but she wanted to look sexy and appealing at the same time... Finally her hands came across a dress she loved, one that looked dressy yet not too dressy plus it showed off her playfulness. The dress she did choose fit so nicely upon her body and flowed around her legs loosely. She wore no jewelry save for the ring her sire had given her when she'd become fully powered, a special red ring that meant the world to her. Her look complete she closed her eyes and shifted herself to the Lounge. It'd been a while since she'd come to the establishment and she wasn't sure if it'd changed in her absence. Stepping inside she immediately moved over to a quiet booth off to the side. The music this night was somewhat subdued, which suited their evening admirably. Her face was aglow as she waited for him so that they could meet for their date. Her eyes kept darting to the door then around the area, in case she'd missed him somehow.

“This isn’t as hard as you’re making it out to be.” Hanyou sternly reproved his reflection in the mirror. Several different ties were draped between his fingers and he had been holding them up to his neck and checking them in the mirror. With a exasperated sigh, he let the ties slip from his fingers and coil around his feet on the ground. This wasn’t working anyways, wearing a shirt with a collar made him feel like he was reporting for work rather than meeting someone on a date. He always looked good; so why was he feeling so stymied now? After an inward reflection he was amused to realize that he was projecting his inner fears at his choice of wardrobe. The fact that he had found a woman able to instill such a sense of distraction in him still thrilled him to no end. He stripped off the shirt he was wearing and let it fall to the floor beside the discarded pile of ties. As he stood there half dressed before the mirror mentally cataloging his options. He wanted something fashionable yet sexy; casual yet debonair. His hand roamed through his closet, trailing lightly over his options. His hand stopped as if on it’s own accord over a black pinstripe t-shirt. “Make a choice, even if it’s wrong.” he encouraged himself and detached the item from the hanger. After another inspection, he decided that he liked the modern take on an old classic, thinking wistfully of times when pinstriped suits and skinny ties were the be all end all. No tie for him tonight, but a black fedora cap tilted rakishly to the side completed the look nicely. Plus he liked the way the shirt showed off his arms. He really had it bad he decided bemusedly, but couldn’t think of any reason to regret that fact. Just one reason, but he needed to make his peace with that. This was about new beginnings. His right hand gripped his ring and pulled, managing to dislodge the tight band. He held it up before him, really taking a long look at the metal ring. His hand opened on of the tiny drawers on the dresser and reached for a key before pausing. He took a silver chain out of another drawer and slipped his wedding band onto it before clasping it behind his neck. He tucked the small object underneath his shirt and let it hang there. Now he was ready. On a whim, he decided to hail a cab instead of teleporting or arriving through any more supernatural means. The mundane sensation of driving through the streets of Ravenblack in a passenger cab was strangely relaxing and allowed him time to mull through his thoughts. A sense of finality wore heavy upon him, but he accepted it as a blessing rather than anything else. He knew exactly what he was doing, and it would all be worth it, as it always was, the moment he saw the smile on her face. The small cab pulled up to the address given and Hanyou was slightly confused when the name of the establishment didn’t match the one he was given. He didn’t allow himself to experience the irrational twinge of panic that offered itself to him. He was in the right time and right place and he knew it. Immediately after exiting the cab and paying the driver he could sense her. A profuse warm glow enveloped him and any doubts were instantly dispelled in the feeling. With a sense of excitement and life he strolled the short distance to the door. There she was, instantly recognizable by her radiance which seemed to beam through the smoke filled air. <Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, I walk into yours.> he thinks to her, putting his own spin on the Bogart line.

As she sat there awaiting his presence she grew more and more nervous. What if he'd changed his mind? What if he didn't want her as more than a friend? What if she was just sitting there making a fool out of herself? With each tick of the clock near the bar she felt her sense of fear growing like an animal slashing at her insides. One of her petite hands moved to rest upon her stomach, as though she could physically make the feeling leave her with that action, yet still the few grew.
She was half tempted to get up and run out of the Lounge, fear taking hold within her. Never before had the possibility of a relationship made her so fearful or nervous. Perhaps it was because she was already so very lost on him. She'd given up a wonderful man, a sure thing where she knew she'd have been happy, because of the intense passion, love and pure devotion she felt for Hanyou. Just the mere idea of the possibility of being able to be with this wonderful man was enough for her, yet now there were so many other possibilities. She could be with him and he wanted to be with her as well. He was the man of her dreams, the one that haunted her every waking and slumbering thought, the one that she would give her very unlife for.
She was just beginning to settle herself down, to grow ready for his arrival, when suddenly she felt him nearby. He had this unmistakeable aura or feel to him that she couldn't help but feel whenever he was anywhere near her. Her eyes cast around the Lounge in excitement, many of her fears abating at the knowledge that he'd shown up, that he'd come to see her. Just the feel of him so close made her smile all the more, the glow of her smile practically lighting up the area around her.
His words rolled through her mind like water washing over rocks in a stream and she couldn't help but burst out laughing. Then her eyes caught sight of him and she just sat there gazing at him, a look of love, adoration and growing lust upon her face and vibrating through her body even as she leaned slightly forward, towards him. She slipped from her seated position, getting to her feet though her legs felt suddenly wobbly. She stood beside the table, one hand still upon it as she stood to present herself to him. As she waited for him to join her she decided to be silly and so she took her skirt in both of her hands and dropped into a low curtsey, a teasing reminder of how their relationship began. She would remain like that, even in the midst of this public setting, until he told her to rise. Mentally she reached out with her mind to him, sending to him, I am honored m'Lord.

Jadeleath dropped low in a respectful gesture. Hanyou's eyes widened in amusement as some of the other patrons were giving her odd glances; but she neither seemed to take notice or particularly care. He could have easily rushed to her, or even used celerity to instantly appear by her side. But he lifted his head up and approached her, walking with a steady gait. When he finally reached her his hand went under her chin and forced her head up so that her eyes looked into his. "You may rise, Jadeleath."

She knew that there were many people looking at her strangely in the subservient position she'd put herself in, but she didn't care. It was a bit of a private joke between the pair of them, a nod to her former role in his life. With her eyes down she couldn't see his location in the Lounge, but she could feel him approaching her, feel his presence drawing nearer. When he placed his hand beneath her chin and drew her upwards, to stand before him, she couldn't help but beam at him, her amber eyes reflecting how much she loved him already.
She wanted to tell him how much she loved him, how much he meant to her, what he meant to her, a sort of verbal diarreah of all of her thoughts and feelings, but she stifled her speech, doing her best to retain some modicum of her dignity. She didn't move away to the booth behind her, she didn't do anything, just merely stood there smiling up at him, her face in his hands. "Thank you for coming and meeting me Hanyou love," she said in a soft voice, her voice heavy with the emotions that she did not speak straight-out.

His reply was to draw her smaller frame into his own, sinking her into his arms and her lips into a kiss. In the kiss hinted at all the repressed emotions and feelings that they held in check just for the sake of decency. They were no stranger to this battle, and had grown blissfully accustomed to losing it, rather than to continue to wage war against their own selves. "How could I possibly stay away from you?" he questioned, unable to keep the delight out of his face. Wrapping a protective arm around her waist, he walked with her to one of the tables near where the music was playing. Pulling a seat out for her, he made sure she was sited before getting comfortable his own self. He reached across the table and took her hand in his, running a thumb over the tops of her fingers. "So, my love, the night is young and so are we, relatively speaking. What is it that your heart desires? Food, drink, adventure, dance, or laughter? I don't see why we couldn't find a way to squeeze all these and more into our time together." The light catches his eye and seems to dance fire like in them, illuminating them in the darkness.

As he pulled her to him she buried her face in his chest, her sensative nostrils catching the scent of the man that she'd fallen for so completely. She felt so safe there with him, so very happy. She could take on the entire world and it wouldn't matter as long as she had him. She stayed like that, in his arms for another few moments, until she heard his question and she just couldn't help the soft giggle that escaped her.
As they moved closer to the band she wrapped her own arm around his waist, their bodies interlaced together in a familiar, loving way. Her smile widened all the more, if that was possible, when he pulled out a chair for her and chivalrously seated her in it. When he sat across from her she couldn't help but sigh happily as he took her hand in his.
Her eyes were drawn to his as though looking away would be a small death to her. She gazed into his brilliant eyes and they almost looked as though they were glowing, but then she was sure that her amber eyes were glowing as well. Upon hearing his words she giggled softly once more, feeling like a teenager out on her first date. "Love, it doesn't matter what we do, as long as I'm with you," she told him in a light voice that could just barely be heard over the music. Her hand squeezed his as she merely sat there gazing into his wonderfully glowing deep blue eyes.
