Inshin nearly fell in the lounge, he was so tired and irritated with his two children that if he didn't get something alcoholic to drink his head was going to explode. He slammed himself down on the bar, looking up at the bartender. I'll have your strongest drink. He ordered, the bartender just nodded and went into the back room.
God...those nightmares of hers need to go away...there driving me up the damn wall! He cursed in his mind and jumped slightly when three glasses of strange colored liquid were presented to him, he at first just looked up at the tender with a questionable gaze like "what is this?". He didn't bother to verbally ask and just took a sip.
Then someone caught his eye, he laid his chin on his arm and looked across the bar to see a very handsome vampire but this was no some stranger it was his brother, Prince wow did he look different. Inshin smiled and continued to look at him, wondering if Prince would look this way and figure out that his brother was in the same room.
Prince sighed as he slipped into the lounge. God, Arian could be such a pest. Thankfully however the idiot had gone off on Prince's other bike and left him in some state of relative peace. He shook his head as he slipped into the Lounge, needing a drink now more than ever, despite the fact he still had plenty of Sake at home. He closed his eyes a moment and felt eyes upon him and turned a bit, but he saw nothing. Figures he'd be all paranoid, I mean, he did just get back from a war.
He sighed and ran a had through his now black hair and closed his eyes as he ordered a heavy drink. He closed his eyes for a moment and when his drink came he took a sip of it, eyes still closed and he was silent for a few more moments before finally speaking, his eyes opening to stare a bit blankly at the wall. " How long do you intend to stare at me Inshin?" He asked softly before turning his head and looking at his older brother. " Do I really look as bad as I feel? I certainly hope not." He replied with a very slight smirk.
He giggled and looked away when finally Prince said something. Just until you saw me. He said, looking back over to his little brother. Nah....you don't look bad you actually look very smexy. He smiled and sat down beside him.
So where have you been, I missed you. He said, laying his head on his shoulder. He took a sip of the blue liquid drink and nearly gagged, it was so strong and nasty. He smacked his lips a couple of times before handing it back to the bartender.
He turned his attention back to Prince. So what have you been up to.....partying, making out, what? He asked and hoped in attempts to make his brother blushed.
.He gave a soft smile and shook his head. "Well I thank you for the compliment, I figured I would return wit my old look to match my old home." He replied softly. At being asked where he was he looked away a bit but looked at his older brother when he laid his head on his shoulder.
He smirked a bit when he tried the new drink and took it before the bartender could return it and downed the concoction, hissing and baring his fangs a bit as the heavy drink slightly burned his throat. He set the glass down before taking a sip of his own drink.
When Inshin asked what he'd been up to and then made a suggestion or two he smirked internally only wishing he could have done those things. "War..." he replied simply downing his own drink and ordering a glass of Bloodwyne. He waited for his siblings reaction, knowing it likely wouldn't be good
I've changed my looks alot...I think I am going to stick with this one....do I look like a girl? he asked and had been told before that he looked just like a girl and wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not.
He giggled as Prince started to gag on the nasty drink. That stuff will leave a punch in your mouth. He mumbled.
He cocked an eyebrow at Princes reply....war is that where he was off to. I see....I was called back to my home county to kill of a assassin I've been in war twice.....did your country win and who were you battling against? He asked.
He smiled softly and shook his head. "No, I don't think you look like a girl, though you change like mine, may seem a bit feminine." He replied softly. He smirked a bit and nodded at his comment on the drink. "Hai. it will burn a hole in your gut that’s for sure.
He gave a soft shrug at Inshin’s questions of the war. " The rebellion has been stopped and I was the one to extinguish their leader, their only shining hope, so hopefully things will settle down. The Nubians, who have just come under Egyptian rule were rebelling against the Egyptian Gods. And as Anubis' heir, I had to go and lead his army into battle. And because of it I lost everything..." He replied sadly as he stared into his empty glass.
"But I expected as much, it's happened before, and now is no different." he replied finally after a bit of silence.
He smiled. I have heard from people that I look like a girl but I take that as a compliment because basically there saying I'm pretty, He said and took a sip of the other drink he had ordered, this one tasted pretty good.
Huh......the war I fought in was in Japan......were you born in Egypt? He asked, Prince certainly didn't look like he was Egyptian.
A confused look went across his face. What did you loose? He asked.
He smiled softly and looked at his brother. "Hai, you are pretty, at least to me anyway." He said with a soft smile. He ordered another drink ad took a sip of it, before setting it aside a bit.
At Inshin's question he nodded. "Yes, My first lifetime before I came into Anubis' servitude I was Egyptian, but the look I have now is from when I was living in Japan and at Blackburn, my family’s estate not far from here, not long before the Meji Restoration in the 1800's, I have decided to rebuild my clan, if possible and to try and start my own bloodline and teach my childe the ways of Honor and peace,... the way of the Bushido."
He looked down a bit when His brother asked him just what all he'd lost. "Both my Husband and my childe left me, because they grew tired of waiting for me." He gave a soft shrug, "I am alone now except for you and the rest of my small family."
He smiled a blushed just a tad at being kissed and shrugged a bit. He nodded softly when he spoke of the Restoration. "My Father and Uncles and my Older Brother all fought against the reform, they fought for the way of the Samurai, believing their rebellion was in service to the Emperor. I remember begging my Father to let my twin and I come and fight, but he said no, that I was needed at Home and taking care of my mother and aunt....That was the last time I saw any of them."
He was silent for a bit before he smiled. "I'm glad, I enjoy your company as well. “Oh, you have a lover, I'll definitely have to meet him, you should bring him to my estate, its not to far from Kimo. Though I am still trying to fix it up and restore a few things." He replied.
Fear ran through him....he had killed many men who fought for the Emperor. Did they fight with the Shinsengumi, Shogunate or the Miwawagami? He asked, those main three were the Choshu clans enemies. Have you heard of a warrior called the Hitokiri Battosai? He asked.
He smiled back. I have already bought him right now his spending time with his sire and hopefully meeting new people. He said.
Prince shook his head softly, "No, all of the Men in the surrounding villages raised up a sort of Army lead under a man named Takamori Saigo in the Satsuma Rebellion in 1877...My brother and I turned 18 that next week, old enough to have gone and fight..." He replied looking down into his cup as he took another sip.
He smiled just a bit and he nodded. "Hai, I have... I had met him once...as a very small child, though I barely remember him. I honestly thought I would never see him again, but I guess I was wrong." He replied with a very slight smirk and a somewhat knowing look at his Brother.
He chuckled and nodded. "Good good, I will have to invite you both over for tea and dinner one night then."
Inshin has never fought with that rebellion he has heard of them yes and the Choshu clan fought against then but he never fought or killed any men from that army. I have heard of them. He said softly.
He saw the smirk and only smirked back. So you know......when did I met you....I did recall seeing a young child and I debating whether or not to kill the boy....since I couldn't let anyone see me in my act of killing but I wasn't that heartless. He said softly, wondering if Prince was the boy he had met. Inshin was the most feared, many men wanted to fight him and kill him but none were strong enough to do so. I hope that your brothers or any family member wanted to fight me. He whispered.
You will like him....he makes me very happy. He said.
He nodded softly and smiled a little. "Hai, that was me, if O remember right I believe I called you a bastard coward who hid behind his sword. Though I was only 3 or so at the time." He said with a slight chuckle. And he nodded softly. "They did, I once remember my Father saying not to long before he left, that if he could fight any warrior against their cause, that it would be the Battosai, that fighting him, even knowing he would likely lose, would be his greatest honor."
He smiled and wrapped an arm lightly around his big brother's shoulder giving him a soft hug, "Good, I'm glad you've found someone to make you happy Brother."
He couldn't help but laugh some. Oh so you are the one who said that I remeber very clearly now......I thought that you were quite brave as a child maybe foolish to say that with someone who had a sword but brave, did you go home and tell your family about who you just witness? He smiled. Hearing that his father wanted to fight him didn't suprise Inshin one bit. Hai........I am not suprise either.....some believe that I wasn't even alive just a made up story to get little kids in bed I killed alot of people for the revloutionary cause but I never went up against your family. He looked to Prince now.
yes he does make me very happy more happy that I have been in a long time. He said.
Prince laughed as well but shook his head. "No, Right after you left my twin caught me and quickly proceeded to beat me senseless with a stick for being so disrespectful, though I gave him a few good hits in return, the encounter was something I treasured. I guess you could say I had some sort of crush on you." He replied with a slight smirk.
"I'm glad he makes you happy Inshin, I must invite you both up to stay the night." He said with a smile. "I think you would really love Blackburn, its the same home my family had back when the Restoration started."
He beat you for being disrespectful to me? he questioned, wondering how many people that night had seen him kill a very important officer to the Shogunate forces. He giggled. A crush eh....and how long did this crush last? He asked, tilting his head to the side.
That sounds very good...we should scedule a time for you to met him maybe a dinner party for the three of us. He said. I would like to go back to Kyoto. He whispered.
"Well he tried to, but since I was a bit stronger than him it didn't work very well." He said with a soft laugh. "We were the only ones who saw, and still I do not know why we kept such a thing to ourselves." At the asking of the crush situation Prince blushed a little and eyed him. "Oh please.. I was four!... " He glanced away some and huffed a bit childishly, "I don't ever really remember getting over it anyway.. I just hid it well." he mumbled.
HE nodded and smiled a bit. "Hai you must, I'll make all your favorite dishes, and then we can surprise your love with a blood cake for dessert." He replied. He nodded at Inshin’s comment on wanting to return to Japan. "Hai... I would like to return as well, but.. " He sighed softly and ran his finger around the rim of the glass. "Everything has changed so... even Gion where my aunt used to live has changed a great deal...Sometimes... I just wish things could go back to the way they were..."
He giggled as Prince turned, blushing abit and huffed childishly. I find that rather cute...how long did you know that I was the Hitokiri Battosai? He asked.
He nodded. Hai but we know how the real Japan looks and in the moutains things are still the same. He whispered softly. I have to admit though I do wish that things would go back to the way they were but I can saythat I am half responsible for things being the way they are. He said.
He blushed a bit more at that but smirked a bt glancing up to think for a moment. "After our second meeting, as it was not long before that I had somehow regained my memories of that lifetime." He replied softly.
He nodded a bit. "Yeah, I do love spending time in the mountains and forests, where one can let thier soul embrace things freely."
He was making his lil brother blush mad and he found it rather amusing. Ah I see......hope that you didn't think that I was some monster back then. He said softly. He only killed men no women, children or even a enemy who has no sword.
I have a place up there that just me and you can go to. He said.
"No, I saw you as many things. Brave, loyal ,majestic, but never a monster." He replied softly as he looked at him. "You had a form of Honor and Discipline I could never have hoped to achieve."
He blinked a little and smiled when Inshin said he had a place in Japan. "Really.. We may have to go for a vacation sometime, Perhaps got to a cherry blossom festival and I can dance in the Performing Arts Festival in Gion. though I would have to call Mother Sachiko." he replied.
He smiled at his Big Brother softly but decided to say no more on the touchy subject for both of them. He smiled and giggled a little, lying his head on Inshin's shoulder. "Oh I love it, I remember when I would get to go and see the cherry blossoms, Oh and the Music and dancing is so much fun, not to mention the food."
He smiled back as Prince laid his head on his shoulder, wrapping a arm around him. Ah yes the food.....that has to be one of my favorite things to do at the festival.....when if the Cherry Blossom Festival? He asked, knowing that it wasn't anytime soon.
