With a heavy sigh Damon watched as his victim made off again, it was strange as she had the mouth to voice her opinions and acted so tough but when met head on, well, there was her reply. Making tracks like always. It was fine as he knew that he will have another change later, let her go for now. Lyrene loved to hear herself talk but this time she bit off more then she could handle when Damon actually came to make good on his promise, maybe next time when she gets out of torpor she could actually keep her mouth shut.
However this was one of the many issues young Damon was faced with, with a change in the rankings and the possibility of an old enemy of his returning into the Xeneri fold his time and patience there was done. Yes, Mother Ayla did take care of him and did her best to help him in any way but to support this blasphemy was pure outrage on her part and a spit in the face for his loyalty to the family he had been with since his walk in the afterlife. Maybe.. just maybe it was time for a change but who could he talk to?
After licking the blood off of his katana Damon then looked around and started walking, he felt kind of lonely for the first time and thats when he noticed that his little pest childer Hanabi was not around. It was strange cause must of the time you could find her right under him talking endlessly about how she was a monkey wolf and she didn't want to be a bat monkey wolf in order to join the family, maybe it was best she didn't, not like the way it was now. She could do much better with him and his other childer.....if he could find them.
His eyes came to rest on the entrance of a lounge, it's been a while since he sat down and had a drink there. It may have been the atmosphere of others in there that made him uncomfortable, or even overhearing the little chats of city politics and meaningless chatter of other worthless affairs didn't mean much to Damon if it didn't involve him. But none the less he succumbed to the urge to drink and made his way inside only to be greeted by the stench of mixed cigarette and cigar smoke that lingered and hung low in the air as hearty talk filled his ears and all the reasons why he never came for so long, with a grunt Damon went to the bar and placed his order in as he pointed to a table in the back where he would be seated at. With one final sweep of the others in the lounge he then made his way there with his coat tail dragging behind him, his hight may have been that of a small kid and at times had it's disadvantages, and a dirty tail end of a coat was one of them.
Once he got himself situated and his drink was there waiting on him Damon then decided to contact the only person who could make heads or tails on things such as this, true, she could at times try to do without her furry companions but they were not as bad as he was used to them now. "Dear Chiru, I hope I did not catch you at a bad time. I request a moment of your time to discuss a few things with a "queen" if you don't mind?" With that all that was left now was to sit and drink, it's been a while since they seen each other but this really was not much of a pleasure meet. There was business to be had here and Damon knew that she, if any could provide the answers he so needed.

Chiru closed her eyes and she huffed slightly slamming the door to her husband's office, she hoped that Nemesis didn't hear their little fight, not that it mattered. She just hated to bother her if she was working on something. Which while she didn't care to much for most of Nemesis's bloodline like she once had. She found that Nemesis was... in a strange about way, not so bad.
She had to agree, it could have been worst but she could also not think of anyone better suited to help her run this place, more so with her husband who just didn't seem to care to much other then fixing the problems on the building, or improving this or that for the place. "Such an un-social vampire..." she muttered as she looked down towards the two wolves, before holding her head as a message entered her mind.
It took what felt like forever to push the unexpected amount of pain, her first thought was to kill the vampire who had sent it but seeing as he had said one word she couldn't help but smile softly. Queen Damon, she did enjoy calling him that but him saying it... her eyes narrowed slightly as her brows knited together trying to debate what the discuss could be that he would say 'queen'. She looked up slightly looking back towards the door before rolling her eyes.
Well Damon unlike many others, was a blessing to talk to, and he almost never came to her for anything that he truly didn't find important at the time. She closed her eyes before heading down the stairs, no one could go up there without permission minus of course herself, Nemesis and her husband. It was a good place to do fighting with her husband seeing as the only one who could catch those fights was Nemesis... fact those places were only added because her husband insisted that they have their own offices, away from the Staff Area... which she agreed to but he had to pay for those upgrades on the place.
She looked at the cloud of smoke that filled the room before opening the small silver box, and turning on the vent. At least to clear the room and make it more breathable, not that she required to breath but her wolves truly did, they weren't as dead as she was. She held back any further thoughts on dead things before moving deeper into the crowds, listening to the chatter she smiled softly, before her eyes followed Kimi's and moved towards the back of the room.
She nodded her head once towards RBCR who gave a small wave as two human girls started to walk out and he stood up opening the doors for them before whispering something and touching the back of their heads. She knew well enough that he was removing any trace of memories of what happened here.
As she moved towards Damon she stopped and leaned over, her black gothic lotita dress trimed in red, with a red jacket, gave her a slight bussiness look at the same time as clearer stated she hadn't really grown out of the style even after being married. Her mary-janes given her a good five inches in height to her already small form, and unknown to a great deal, held hidden weapons within them. She smiled softly as she leaned close to him, no breath came from her as she spoke, after all there was no need to breath. "Queen Damon, how wonderful for you to finally come and bless her with an appearence. Shall we be seeing you in that beauitful form?" she smirked softly as she straighten up.
She took a seat given a wave of her hand towards the barkeeper who wasn't to far away and he gave a nod, Chiru only drank one thing, Kisho and Kimi only drank one thing unless otherwise informed and within moments sat the tea, honeydew milk and rum. Each to their owners. Once gone again she looked towards him before narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, "We do hope you are not here to boost about you're blood intake..." She had become as of late very aware of how much of those around here whom she had seen turned and grown in power and strength, have become nothing more the blood holders, had it not been her own love and mate, she would of never gotten as fat as she had been. Oh she did agree that the more weight you carried the harder to kill but it was also very easily removed as she had seen countless times herself. "...or you will learn first hand just how easy it is to lose all that blood." she said given him a warm smile, she knew it most likely had nothing to do with this. "and don't be threatening her with those... things... her husband is upstairs and that will solve those nasty little things..." she shuddered inwards as she grab the tea in her gloved hands and held it to her lips, she did wonder though without doubt why he would seek her out.

After taking his first shot Damon downed it in one second, he took the glass and filled it back up and did the same to that one as well. He was not looking to get drunk just readying himself for his meeting with Chiru, it's not that he had no reason to call on her but somethings needed preparation and the was one of them.
He looked up and happened to spot a wolf coming his direction, judging by it's looks it could be Kimi, if he was not mistaken. However looking further along he could now see Chiru not too far behind. He attire was nothing out of the ordinary for her although he was expecting to see her in one of her many kimono's that he had grown accustomed to seeing her in, but then again when was her attire even normal... it worked for her.
With a nod in return Damon could not help but to smirk then look down at the diamond that hung around his neck, reaching to his chest where his unbeating heart was he picked it up and glanced at it some. "You know, I would have no problems in doing so.. although with all the cat calls and whistles I had gotten while walking around as a female... I still can't get over that, maybe some other time."
With a sigh he shook his head, it was a while since he and Chiru went on that quest to get that blasted thing, it bought them somewhat closer as he had no one else to turn to so it was not like he had any other choice but to do so. "I mean, there are just somethings you don't do. Men are not to take a peek under a womans dress, it's just, not, right!" Damon added, his voice expressing his annoyance in men. Yeah he was one but when you have an ability to change gender like that you never know what it's like to be treated like meat, he tilted his head to the side as his brow knitted some. "Just, how do you cope with it?"
Damon took a moment to pour himself another drink and gulp that down, just happening to catch her remark of his feeding habits. His attention just happened to go from his drink to her eyes and chuckled some, that was alittle out of the ordinary she brought up. Wondering why something like that would be cause to boast about he blinked cluelessly as his brow furrowed some. "Now, why would I call you here to brag about the blood I obtain? I mean sure I noticed that you took some heavy damage your self but I am sure theres reason for that, but, things like that is not my concern. However it is funny that you would mention that, cause it seems to me that a bloodline. More importantly a family bloodline is getting little... tainted so to say, because of my history with an infamous dragon who I know your quite familiar with. Well the thing is I am tired, I am tired of going through being the protector and guardian for them to turn around and give him another chance."
Damon stopped and took the bottle in his and drank from it, right now any sort of scapegoat to get him out of the way he felt when he thought about it..well there was two ways to deal with it but when it came to the Xenerians that was frown upon. "It's time for a change, maybe a change of scenery or family, but all I know is that if he does get excepted then, as I told them all, I am leaving. It will be hard for Ayla to accept that but it's a decision that has to be made... it will be put to vote again and if they take him back then I want no part of the Xenerian bloodline, so I'll be needing another one." Damon looked into her eyes with a slight smirk growing on his face. "Interested?"

Chiru raised and eyebrow at him as he began to speak of changing into a female. It seemed he still had not learned to work with the very powerful crystal. Though she could not blame him, there was no one who could teach him, those that could have were long dead now. It was simply luck on their part he was even able to call them forth and deal with the matter. Though she had to agree he was a very pretty young woman when he used it. After all his size though taller then her, was more suited for him at those times.
She thought about that little journey, and was pleased that she had worked out the bloodline of the Queen enough, though she had her doubts during that time as well. Not only that but she had been of very little help other then when it came to the stories, the rest of the time she was to busy hiding. Not one of her greatest moments, but one can’t help what they fear, and she had been able to cast some magic but mainly just to protect herself.
She couldn‘t help but chuckle as he asked how she coped with such things, “Catcalls? Or the looking under the skirts?” she placed a hand under her chin as she leaned on the table some, her eyes showing amusement as she smirked “No one is foolish enough to look under her skirts, and as for catcalls, well she rarely gets such things. Not many find her cute Damon, most in fact don’t like her.” she sat up placing her hands around the teacup again. “Fact most of them are within your very bloodline. Others, well they have been very close to your bloodline, so it was only a matter of time when they’re love would become hate.” she looked at him carefully. “And hate has it become indeed…” her eyes seemed to glaze over slightly. “She does not regret the choices she has made, but she had learned much, loyalty is not something that is given by many. Most just want what makes themselves happy. That is the world we live within. They claim to love, but it is nothing more then a passing thought. Perhaps being dead, and cold makes them forget… and she of course… can’t forget. Being warm… dead but warm.” she frowned slightly at this thought. Though she wouldn’t like being cold to the touch, she liked to feel less walking dead for within her own mind, when one became dead and cold, they lost their minds.
“Vampires don’t seem to live by human laws… it can’t be helped. They cling to whatever can make them feel more human, and she does not have that power. She does not have the power to make them into names within this city nor will she do so.” She was hardly a name, though she was known, even though she remained mostly to herself. She was always more then surprised when someone did know her whom she had not known. No one had ever surprised her more then Neske himself… then again. He belonged to a very powerful clan, though peaceful in every way.
She looked at him softly as he began to speak about Astaroth and his rejoining perhaps of the very same bloodline, she tried to hide her surprise when he asked if she was interested, “Interested is beyond her at the moment…” she said softly thinking about Astaroth, Her words made it even more clearer that when it came down to it. Vampires were far from human, and even further away from their own convections against one another. “How amusing…” she said softly mostly to herself as her hand trailed Kimi’s fur, “His two greatest enemies, Gabe and Ayla, one whom has killed him with the aid of his clan as well as at the time his lady friend’s father, and cousin of their bloodline… and the other whom you tried to bargain away from her.” she didn’t recall to much about the Bargain was pleased that Hide had no problem filling in the missing pieces she had forgotten, though she knew he was hiding many things from her still.
“Very strange indeed…” she closed her eyes, had she not gone to war with him? No it had not dealt with Ayla at that time, she was the trade off according to Hide, he had attacked Shini’s childe, and while she could not recall much on her relations with the young vampiress, other then she had been related to her though Nightwalker. When he had begged her to stop an attack she had no control over, she couldn’t help but hide the smile. Had the great dragon once again, found himself unable to find protection? She knew he had been denied from her clan, she could do no more for him. Nor in the truth of the matter would she. No she would always see him as her friend, and if he was not at fault would do what she could to help, but only with permission of such things. She looked towards Damon for a moment, what she found more amazing was the fact he would be so willing to turn back to a family that held so many enemies, or perhaps, that family needed more stronger vampires within their grasp and Astaroth had made a name for himself, even if it was not the best of names.
“Suppose it is not all that strange, no one has been able to put up with him like your bloodline. Even Majica…” she looked at Damon carefully for a moment. “…no, only one bloodline she could think of that would allow him to be himself, allow him to place it’s members in danger, to hide behind… would be that of your bloodline.” she did not like to say such things. But if Majica whom had one of the biggest families, and allowed her childer to be themselves, as long as they did not place each other in danger, would require him to cloak to keep him from harming his family. Where else would he turn to? He knew very well she would not have her family protect him if he was the cause of such things, and she doubted very much that Gyllenstiernas would take him as well.
“No, Astaroth is very suited for them. They wish to be the next most powerful family in the city. Oh they are growing quickly, taken from the sounds of it even their enemies ex-childer no longer limited to those who were just of their bloodline of one time.” she smiled softly, “No it can’t be helped… they wish for power and what more could they ask for then from a Dragon? Who had such connections with that of Majica? Her bloodline is full of some of the most powerful vampires within this city, some hated, some loved, some feared, but rarely are they forgotten.” she closed her eyes thinking back on things.
“Power… keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” she shook her head as she looked back at him. “Do tell her Damon, if you are to leave you’re bloodline, what it is you wish from her? She had once wished you for herself, though she knew our… past was far from a happy one.” that was a great understatement, she had hated him from the moment he raised his hand against Madeye, but she had slowly began to respect him and care about him when he fell in love with Madaline, and even more so during their travel for his… well diamond. “She can not give you a powerful name and her family line is… at the best strange.”
She thought about the fact that in a round about way whom she was related to in a form of connections, though she knew each family had their own things. She closed her eyes allowing her mind to settle those thoughts as she looked back at him. “Hai it is a very strange way of how it is seen for her… but it is best to say, that besides her father’s bloodline which he is the head of, she is the daughter of Pandrora and so her family is them.” she chuckled softly at the thought of Pandrora and AQelDroma, she was very happy with her family and would not change them for the world. She still had WhiteLighter and that gave her comfort, as her own childer did.
“So… if it’s power, she can not nor will she give it to you.” she looked at him firmly, “if you want a name you will make it yourself. If you want power you will find it you own way. She has no desire for any of these things, and the power she has was formed by strong binds.” Those in most cases, she ended up with binds she had not expected to begin with. She smiled warmly at those whom had caught her unbeating heart and whom she would never wish harm upon. She looked down towards the two wolves, and sighed as she recalled Nameless, Kisho’s childe and pup. Well she could not win everything, and that bond was more forced, and wasn’t all that welcomed to begin with. First her husband then the damn wolf. Though because of Nameless she had gone out to look for a childe that would be very fitting for her as well as the girl. She had found that childe, him. Her mind wandered slightly towards zslasher and how he had been related to many of the bloodlines in the city and was tossed aside, she was ever so proud of him, she had not listen to the words of the others and she had gained a childe whom she had come to adore greatly. She looked back towards Damon her eyes soften slightly. “Have you really thought about such things clearly Damon? She is not Ayla, nor is her family anything like the one which you are in now. You understand that some of you’re childer may not be happy with you’re move? Are you truly ready to give them up? Have you place their feelings at all in this? Though you should not allow that to hold you from what makes you happy either. You should at least be ready for such things. You after all the sire of someone who hates her greatly and whom is to bind if that ever does come to happen, to an ex-childe of hers whom wishes nothing more then her death and the death of all those related to her. Can you truly say that this is what you are ready for?”

Damon could not help but to stare at her for a moment, she may have the most strange taste in alot of things, maybe the only one who would commune with wolves and maybe other creatures, refers to herself in 3rd person, which he always found amusing. But one thing was for certain she was not harsh on the eyes, and if anything to add on to her defense she was partner bound so she could not have be that much of a public outcast to accomplish that when he himself only gotten as far as a few engagements....but a hell of alot of flings.
"Well I only wish I was that lucky, I mean it's bad alone when I am changed and have to stay that way for a while. But I can only cut off so many heads and hands for so long till I have to wonder just how desperate some men are." Damon then went inside his coat pocket and pulled out a severed arm, it was old, corroded and discolored. He put it on the table and let it move freely, the fingers moving it's way towards Chiru dragging the arm with it. "I have to hand it to you Chiru, you should conceder yourself fortunate. I only had attempts in getting married, I know you were on bad terms with my first lover and the sister, if I am not mistaken of the one after. I would guess my chance of a relationship is as dead as.....well, that hand there. He added as the hand was only a few inches away from her, he knew her fear of these "things" as she called him and it was rare for him to have some fun with her and to actually see her afraid of something. With a wave of his hand th severed arm was reduced to sand on the table, showing his grasp of how far he got in mastering the diamond. Yes, it was a hard task to master it's full potential by himself without the possession of the queen taking him over but he was patient, Damon was willing to learn.
"But anyway I digress, I agree that it was strange that Astaorth would want to conceder to rejoin the bloodline of the Xenerian. However I find it more perplexing that there are those that are more then willing to have him back, now even though he stands at the test trial period to see how far he can be trusted I really have a sinking feeling that soon enough they will take him back. It's even more so that one of his supporters is my own sire, Ayla Myst. The one who I would go as far as to risk my own life to ensure her safety, you know that, even though I busted in on your...ceramony after Astaroth sold her to you like property. It may have been a long time, but that is something that I will never forget." Damon took a deep breath and closed his eyes, it was one of the many scars that still held lots of emotions inside him. It was a shock that any was showed at all in public as he outside appearance was that of a cold and calloused little kid, but on the inside things still hurt, have meaning and felt pain. Things that he doubted that damn dragon could ever fathom to understand.
"The Xenerians, they are a good bunch. But they are not much on critical thinking. They may live by codes and guidelines and I do understand the fact that it's there would keep themselves in order and control within the ranks.... but it will be that same rule and guideline that will be their downfall soon, once a Xenerian....always a Xenerian." Damon then took a drink from the bottle itself instead of drinking from a glass, feeling the burn of alcohol was better then the burn of what they gave him plus it took his mind of of the confusion it gave him. "Now I think about it, in a way I almost understood Astaroth's intentions when he tried to force Ayla to bind to his childer. Even though he was going at it the wrong way.... there was always the though that I should just take control of the family and make them into... vampires with balls so to say, they are too weak, to soft on each other. When trouble comes there way they are quick to run to their sires or someone else and complain that they are in trouble, they can't stand up for themselves. I try to whip them into shape but most of them don't understand my methods, I know if Astaroth was here he would so rub this in my face." Damon shook his head with a depressed look on his face, it's like there was no way around the fact that the two were almost alike but to get him to admit that was like getting him to stay a woman. And that was not happening.
"I don't care what he brings to the table, what connections he has or the relationships he have with others. I want nothing to do with him till the time is right, and that time is not now, it's bad enough I am in my own little battle with his former childer and a long pain in my ass Lyrene. I am still in the middle of having her rest in torpor but there is one thing that delays me from doing so, which is another reason why I need your assistance." Damon then reached over his shoulder and took out his katana, it was still stained with blood and it was that of Lyrene. He laid he on to the table looking back at Chiru. "This is all I know, this is what I go on. I am a fighter, even at my young age I have to fend for myself no matter what I go up against or who. Like the time I went up against Madeye... I knew nothing of him but the fact that he was an ass, I am sorry if this is offensive to you but this is what I felt at the time. Yes, I was dumb to challenge him but when your pride and friends have been threatened fighting is the only way I know to react upon, I have paid for my ignorance and live to know better.
My point is this, if all I was after was power and to make a name for myself I was have swallowed my pride, laid prostrate at Astaroth's feet and beg him to take me back. Everything that I had gotten, the path and name I had made for myself I did on my own. So that is not what I am after, what I am in need of is however enlightenment, information, and resources. I know that there are others that I could go to, like Ariel. But I am afraid that that could not happen do to the fact there is no way in hell I will be part plant." Damon shivered at the thought, he refers to Ariel as plant man as he turned his whole place to a sanctuary for Gaia, whoever the hell that was. "But the fact remains I need someone to give information on others, there connections, there bloodline. Something to help me be better prepared in my actions, you see, a warrior is only as useful in war. What happens afterwords? So, in short, I need guidance and your as knowledgeable in facts that would only began to elude me. For instance."
He then took one final swig from his drink and set it down before calling on the waiter to get him another one, Damon then looked back to Chiru and continued his statement. "The reason for my delay in beating the hell out of Lyrene is because she is under the protection of a clan called the Empty Spiral, I am sure you are savvy on them then anyone else. How do I know? I don't really, but I am sure that as far a politics of this place your are more up to par on then I am. You know my standing on clans, I find it to be a cowardly act to hide behind a group of many and think your big sh!t by yourself. It sickens me." He stopped as a bottle of vodka was placed on the table and gave a nod in return, taking a drink for it he felt more relaxed now and could continue on now.
"I know you may think that I myself am considered in a clan, but I assure you, the Saints are a dwindling group of fledgelings if that much. Their time has came to an end as my alliance with them will be as well, I act on my own accord and do as I see fit. And that b!tch wants to cower behind help then the little respect I had for her is gone, a Lady Darkness put it so well that she knows of our personal business but can't tolerate it. Thats her business and she is sticking her nose in a matter that does not concern her, however, if there was an attack on me then who shall help me? Xenerians? They may have numbers but there is but so many that can stand a chance, excluding Xeneri herself who knows of our existence but will never get involved. Some family huh?
I realized your not Ayla, infact your far different. I will always consider her my mother as she had been there for me in times when no one else has. But once she thought of seeking friendship in one that I had fought so hard to keep her safe from, it was like she just said "Damon, fu<k you" I told her that if he crosses the threshold of Xeneri line to sever me, knowing her she will never do so. Which is why I hope you can be ready or at least will want a small trouble making kid like me, as far as my children go.....well, we will talk. One of them however will probably welcome the change, but Vikki, thats where the challenge will lay. But I need to know will you welcome me in if I do find myself without a family?"

Chiru watched as he slowly took out a gray, dried hands. As though she had said or done something that was wrong. "Well..." she said trying to act like it wasn't moving towards her, even though Kisho was now moving ever so closer between the table and herself. "The first one, she never really liked. Weak things should not be acting like high an mighty. Though you had to learn that the hard way as well..." she held back a shudder as it was now even closer. "As for her sister, she cared for her but she wanted her to be stronger. She wasn't very strong, and depended to much upon the family for protection... though can't be helped... Madeye-papa did spoil his childer... herself as well." she said softly thinking about the man who had been a father in a way she could no longer recall.
She looked towards the hand and sighed heavily as she quickly waved down someone to clean up the sand mess. Once the sand was far enough away she relaxed. Kisho was once again relaxing and Chiru placed her cup of tea back down. Her eyes softening for a moment, "you shouldn't do such things... it's not very nice." she said before they slowly turned pure black. "Next time we'll see how well you can handle heat. She already knows her husband can't deal with it very well."
Chiru held her hand up for a moment, "Damon you said it yourself, once one, always one... as for Xeneri herself, well there is little you can do about her. She is a neutral vampiress and not only that but she sees all of us... no matter what blood we may find ourselves connected to, as hers. What do you expect one to do who sees such things as that? To simply fight against her everyone? More so when she herself sees everyone as apart of her, as she is the daughter of RavenBlack, the God of us all?" she shook her head softly. "No... she is wise to stay out of the problems within a house she herself did not make, but was made in her honor." she leaned back some as she played over what he said about Astaroth once more.
"Power is power... we all seek it in different ways... or are given such things. For herself it is more given then anything. She is lucky to have known those around her, and she would not trade them for much. Yes there may come a time when she will attack them... for her family. Yet she likes to believe that after the fighting is done, they would still be friends. Perhaps not as close as they once were but that was the danger of being friends with someone outside of ones clan." she looked down slightly as she sighed. "Hai sometimes that is the price but it is a price that she is willing to pay. She has known many who have come and attacked her in this last war and she has attacked them back. Sometimes it was fun... other time it was not. In either case it is what it is."
She looked towards Damon as he drank once again and shook her head softly. "You know it is not wise to over do such things..." she whispered softly before looking away. "Though you know... Astaroth connections could also help you in your little fight against Lyrene. She doesn't care much about the vampiress but she doesn't care much about many in this city. Like you with Astaroth, she can not forgive, the words she said to CBK, nor shall she forgive such things anytime soon. Though CBK himself has forgiven her... and so has Pandrora-okaa..." she lowered her eyes.
"There is another reason... but she sadly can not recall what it is... something to do with..." she held her head as the pain filled her mind. Keeping her from recalling the full details of such things. After a moment the pain set a side and she slowly reached for her teacup, "never wise to try and force yourself to recall something you, yourself wished gone."
She licked her lips as she looked back at him. "What is your reason for choosing her though Damon? For the information? You yourself know that in the past she has helped you as well as Astaroth. She has not ever requested you to spill anything, no knowledge at all, all she had ever requested from both of you is that you both keep your hands off of what is hers. Her blood, her husband, her clan." Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Though she knows there was a moment you were willing to help in the war... and that was indeed against us. To come in and take a kill that is not yours, to even think about such a thing..." she snarled slightly.
"She suppose that could not be helped, you are friends with many of her enemies..." she shook her head softly. "It seems she picks the ones that are odd out..." she chuckled softly thinking about Majica and Mina. Oh she was told to be careful around them, to watch herself. Yet she still seen them as her friends and she cared a great deal about them both. No not as much as her clan or family but she cared greatly nonetheless.
She looked towards him as she finished the tea and waved for some more before running her hands though the wolves fur. "She does not wish to be hurt more from those she adopts Damon... she had been hurt enough by those of your house and allies... please explain why? You seem to understand Astaroth enough, do you really find it impossible to forgive him?"

This was priceless, watching Chiru try to remain calm till the rotted corpse was reduced to a pile of sand. He could not help but to snicker, however her points were right, Moon was weak in her vampiric ways but yet he still loved her none the less. The same for Madeline, but she had given up more so then wanted to try. Damon had no problems being her lord of darkness, but every lord needed a queen by there side and for him that was something that was not found.
He took another drink as he listened to her explanation of why his great grandsire never was or would take part in their problems, yes Damon could see the point in her reason and if he himself was ever so fortunate to have a large family such as the Xeneri Line then it would be hard to fight against his decedents but that would not mean that he would be a rather distant family member either.... it just didn't make sense to him. "But here's the problem, here we are, Xenerians in the bloodline of great Xeneri herself...and yet she has no contact with us what so ever, are we just mere namesake? Do we not matter? Are we not worth mentioning? What the hell is being a Xenerian if the relationship with the one and only vampire that your lineage is named after is absent.....why bother? Even if the bloodline was made honorary for her, it's still just a fraudulent bloodline that beckons to be known....we are....and yet.....we're not."
Once he heard and mused over that fact it was somewhat clear to him of what Chiru was saying, Damon understood it but still felt like something was missing, more like someone named Xeneri. The answers were there but it was understanding the reasons behind it that would take time to get a hold of, he then looked back to Chiru and reflected on the things she said. He never interrupted one time and simply listened, hanging on every word she said, It was thing like this he needed to know about. Power was nothing he didn't know about or ever needed assistance in seeking, no, but knowledge such as this. This was why he seek her out, she was older then him but in looks they were pretty much the same age but skin deep, wisdom wise, he was still a mere child that needed guidance and see her as one that could do so.....Astaorth? Well, Damon would rather die first then ask anything of that uptight son of a bitch.
Just as he was about to drink again her caught her comment about over doing it, he let out a heavy sigh, why was everyone telling him that? "Well, I don't know if you will allow me to decrease your customer population here. Belive it or not but it helps me stay calm." Damon replied as he then took another sip, shorter then what he normally did but just enough to show that he had restraints. Even more so at the mention of Astaroth, his hand slid towards it but then stopped. There was nothing but the death of either he or his former sire that could cure that. He lowered his eyes at that thought of asking him for help.....never. It coasted him his life before where he was left alone and his so called sire was no where to be found, it would be better to fight all of Empty Spiral himself then to ask an ass like him for help, that way the only back he had to watch was his own.
It seemed as though Chiru didn't like Lyrene as much as he did, infact he was ready to ask her to join him. But then as she was in the middle of trying to recall something got a migraine instead, don't know what triggered it don't as alot of things it was not his business so Damon just nodded in agreement then dismissed it. Hearing her mentioning the war, however, did set some questions in his head. He didn't know much about it but the casualties were great none the less. "I really can't recall who it is that you are referring to, however you do realize that there are many that you call friends would pretty much want to see me dead as well or just don't like me or I them. Whatever was the cause of this great war has nothing to do with me nor any of mine so yes, I did stay out of it. If there was anything I needed to know I am sure you or anyone I can rely on would have told me of it.
As I said before, I only seek one that can help me grow in wisdom more or less, I only know as many that goes on within the Xeneri line. Others in the city I either come across or just hear about are only faces to me, faces with no meaning of who they really are. It's time to shed some light on these things and know who's who and whats going on, like the Empty Spiral, I only know of Lady Darkness by only when she contacted me. Everything else on the matter is unknown...it's time to change that, so if my departure from the Xeneri line was to occur I want my next choice in a sire to be one that can help me grow in knowledge and acquaintances. Fuck numbers, that does not impress me much. For all it takes it one bit of information to make an army crumble, if I am wrong then please inform me otherwise...As for Astaroth..." Damon then curled his hand into a fist, why did his name alway pop up when it come to him? Why will his name alway haunt him for almost all eternity? "Astaroth.......even though we may be cut from the same cloth....he may be older then me and a hybrid as I am.....but that man.....that vampire....is a user." His eyes started to glow red, he looked over at his bottle that was still half full but never touched it but stared through it like he was concentrating on something behind it. "He used me then casted me to the side like a used napkin......in a way.....he's like my father.....my real father....thought he was better then everyone......thought he could bend me to his will....thought he was all powerful....absolute. I thought I wanted to be like him, thought he was going to help me......thought he would understand me."
A single blood tear came from his left eye, he was not sadden but holding back everything. Pain caused from him, his mortal father, and the hell he was put through with both. He was focusing on keeping it in...even though as he did so his hand was bleeding steadily without him knowing it. "I am nothing like him, I hate him.....I loathe him...he will never know the pain he caused me.....he must die." Damon then blinked as he happened to look down at the blood that was on the table then notice where it came from then opened his hand to see the large holes in him palm now slowly healing up, that dragon, would he ever be free of him? "Guess...I got carried away."

Chiru closed her eyes thinking about that answer. "She is old, for someone like her... to know that a family is gathering simply to fight..." she mused softly. "...to stand out above all the rest. Perhaps she doesn't wish to deal with such things. Like she said it was not her who said 'let's make a house', it was your lot who made that house and your lot that did all the rest." she closed her eyes. "Now she had the power, but perhaps she wanted to see a house that would be peaceful, to see a house that could grow and not grow towards war... and hate..." her eyes open as she stared at the teacup. "After all she is one of the most peaceful vampires out there... and your house is far from a peaceful path." she smirked softly. "So very far from that..." she lifted the tea to her lips before putting it back down.
Her hands moving towards Kimi as she listened to Damon once again, she looked away slightly. "Astaroth is too trying to get out from his own past..." she looked at him from the corner of her eye before her other hand fell onto Kisho's head. "You are cut from the same cloth... a cloth that fights, that doesn't forgive so easily... just like most of those within your house." she said looking at him now. "You are not cut from the cloth of Xeneri and her ideas... oh she is a wonderful vampiress, strong in her ways, caring, loving... but her own family does not see things in her ways... they question her... and she very well could question them as well." she looked down slightly. "She was once her sister..." her voice was very low. "She was once the childe of RavenBlack... he himself had turned her..." she reached for her neck.
"It has taken a long, long time to come to those answers... but he was her first sire... she had cut the ties with him when he was not around." she looked at Damon, "to go where she belonged..." she looked down her hand falling back to Kimi's fur. "He was no father, nothing more then a sire, and she for a long time fraught being alone, fraught the ways of this city without any true help."
"Perhaps that too is all she knows... no point in changing if it works well for you now is there?" she smirked softly as she leaned over and touched his hand "and the past can destroy you, can make you believe in things, in someone, and no matter how right it may feel at the time, it will come back to haunt you. Letting go, is the only way..." she let go of his hand that was bleeding now and sat back, Kisho making quick work of the blood that had gotten onto her gloves within a few moments she removed those gloves and tossed them to the table.
"We all require something...." she leaned against Kimi as she sighed softly. "To teach you what she knows, there isn't much... she still is learning and she learns more from her family and her clan..." she wasn't talking about her childer but her husbands family. "To be truthful, all she knows about this clan protects her, is that they died in the war, and were destroyed by her family and friends... her clan and allies." she closed her eyes. "That is about it... and before you speak about your family not joining in the war. Do not forget that is not at all true..." her eyes narrowed slightly. "So speak only for yourself Damon, speaking for them could get you in a world of trouble."

Damon calmly listened to her, this was more like a family history to him. The way she spoke about Xeneri being a peaceful vampire acutally surprised him. A vampire that was actually peaceful...did such a thing existed? And if it did, why?
Knowing that the house he grew in and lived with was a house that was only built within the ideals of the great Xeneri, to them she was like a god, next to the great Raven Black himself. To know that the Xeneri bloodline was nothing more then a house of appreciation then one that was built under her herself, and to say that they were far off path from Xeneri...in a way he could see it but then again it all made sense. "I wouldn't say they were not a peaceful bunch but I would not call them war hungry, the Xenerians they value family and unity and only fight within reason. So are you saying that Xeneri would not do so for one of her own? I do understand...but I can not say that I could do so as well, if my own are hurt I hurt to. If they ask me for help I would gladly oblige, that is what a bloodline is...isn't it?"
Damon breathed in heavily, trying to grasp and understand everything that was said. There was alot of things to think about and then there was the fact that someone who was a thorn in his side was also something like him, hard to deny it and more so to shake the fact. But one thing was for sure, he was not a peace follower like Xeneri. He stopped and look at Chiru in disbelief that she was actually a sister of the great Xeneri herself a position that should have been held inhigh reguard. An actual child of Reven Black himself, and yet...she looked saddened.
He never knew how it was to not be without his sire, even though it was Astaroth. Oh how it all came back to him once again, Damon looked at his hand once again as the wounds started it's healing course thinking about how much of his own blood was from that dragon and that was from Ayla, the two people that played a role in his upbringing but in different ways. "It's almost that same as I felt, under Astaroth. He was there, yet, he was not. Since he was all for clan and not his own how else was I to learn but on my own? Was I wrong to stand up for my beliefs? My friends? The people that actually ment something to me? I died for them..I am sure you heard, thats how you got to know me..or of me. I regret going against your...old sire but you must understand, if someone insults people that mean anything to you..is it wrong to protect them?!" Damon told her as he pounded his fist on the table, blood gushed out from his hand and yet he didn't noticed.
"Madeye was powerful, yes. But it was because of that I learned two things, one was that to be strong I had to work at it rather then speak it. Two...Astaroth is no sire I could rely on. Hell most things I learned was within his absence." He then looked in to Chiru's eyes with a trace of sadness in his. "I got if all on my own..and you wonder why I hate him so?
I can't let go, I want to, but can't. It's like a rock that is thrown into the sea. Even after the waves and ripples are calmed on the top...that rock is still there." He then pointed to his head and tapped it lightly. "Every act of betrayal and abuse is till there, simmering and stirring. When will it get it's release? If I am destroyed by it or he is by my hand, I see no other way of releasing it.
Now, I won't lie to you. I don't recall you ever have. You may not know much but that in which you do is valuable, you say you see me as a brother...and with this damn maybe even a sister." Damn added as a smile curled onto his lips before continuing. "But it would be very enlightening to know how to do things the right way, to know about the things that will put names to faces. I really don't want to make the same mistake twice, so I ask you this, if I was to leave the Xeneri line. Would you be willing to take me in?"

Chiru leaned back her hand running though Kimi's fur as she reached for Kisho. Her voice changed, from third person to first person. "I assume you think I'm lying about such things Damon. I would not lie about who my first sire is not after searching for so long to know for myself. She is a peaceful vampiress, she will not join in the fighting of RavenBlack's very own creations. Think of that would make her feel? We are all his children. She would be killing, fighting against her sisters, her cousins, here nieces... so many even if they are no longer such she still sees them and anyone they turn the same way. You want to protect them, she wants them to live in peace. A true good vampire will try to show by teaching, and by teaching this means no fighting. Your house was made in her honor, but she did not make it."
She closed her eyes, before opening them again given a small smile. "No... her sire was there in the start... while she was nothing more then a beast... a monster. He had tried or at least so she can recall. He did what he could but he has very many childer, many she was just one more... there was little he can do for her. The fact he did not mind her serving is far more then enough." This she held true to her heart. "Besides, she believes WhiteLighter and Madeye to have been grand fathers for her... and she is lucky to have them... had him..." she said meaning Madeye her eyes softening slightly before looking back towards him.
"You must also recall that Astaroth sire died while he was young, he resired to a peaceful vampire... he could not help you the way he had when he had a sire who was gone who did not show him, when he himself had a sire who would not protect him. How could he teach you that which he did not learn until Majica?"
She leaned back thinking about his question before given a small nod of her head. "Hai as with Astaroth when he asked her Damon. She would resire you if you ever wished it... she will only offer it once. If you do not take it when it is offered she will not offer it again. She has no room for those who can not make up their minds." she looked at him slightly. "Yet she would be honored for our connection to be deeper then it is as of now." She smiled softly as she looked at him and bowed her head slightly. "Though she believes that you will find that leaving is easier said then done... they do not let go... easily."

It took him a minute, but Damon noticed her change in speaking and it indeed caught him for a loop. But he was not saying that he didn't believe what she was saying, only that he could not understand much. But either way it was a learning process, if you did look at it, under Raven Black himself they would mostly be related any way so in a way it made sense. "Chiru, I am not debating the fact that you are not right. This is the reason I come to you, to learn, to shed some light...so to say, on these things. I have been in the city for a long while yes but in the dark about certain things. For one you have giving me alot of insight about the Xenerians that I came into, it's alittle clearer to me about why she won't take part in battles...but every mother has to put the belt to their kids asses at time." Damon said with a light shrug, it was what he believed. You were doing wrong you get punished for it, but you had to remember that things in the vampiric sense was far different then the things that you would normally do in mortal ways.
He could only listen as she explained her ordeal with Raven Black, a powerful vampire, a god in some eyes sired her and countless others. Sure it would be hard to keep up with all of them but the thing was, as she explained it, he did try. And with him he never had that chance. Damon was loyal, blindly loyal to him only to get knocked in the face for his troubles and then left for dead. It was not till Ayla took him under her loving wing. Listening to her he could see some relation within himself what she was going through, at the same time it was different. "At least he tried, what chance was I given? But I guess it was partially my fault as well, I should have never picked him for a sire." Damon said as he looked to the table, slightly musing over that thought. Maybe it would have been better if he chose someone else?
"I am sorry, I should not be comparing this with your past, but if you had one like mine you would want to try something else.." He added in a slight mumble the last part as regret still plagued over him. "I know alittle about Astaroth's past, but was it hard to give some sort of advice? I was sure he knew how to feed then, but did he tell me? No. I would have been happy if he even helped with the simple things, I never asked for much Chiru. His guidance for my loyalty, that was fair...wasn't it?"
with a sigh he picked up the bottle he left untouched for a while and started drinking again, finally feeling another type of burn in his chest then the tight knot in his stomach. A smile came on his face as she mentioned that she would resire him, but it was a shock that Astaroth came to her first as well. Damn that vampire, always one step ahead of him. He returned the nod in agreeing of wanting to broaden their connections, truth be told Damon wondered what it would be like of he had her as his sire before. would she allow him to call her mother? "You are right, thats another thing I would need help with. Ayla is loving, more so that she would die before giving me up. And every coin I have is needed to build up for battle, it's between Astaroth, Lyrene and her newly made alliance she has with Empty Spiral and Ayla holding on for dear life. I am at a lost for how to manage this with what I got."

Chiru frowned slightly at that thought, "Would not it be more punishment for one to learn that the Mother can't always protect them?" She looked towards him. "For one if her childer get into trouble and it's their own fault why should she protect them? Why should she do such a thing if they themselves are the ones fighting. Do understand clearly Damon, that if she was to resire you, that if you keep insisting on fighting with Astaroth she will not get in the middle of it. Nor will she stop you, what you two do between each other as long as she is not in the middle and it is not here..." she pointed at the table, "it's not in her home... her okaa's and fabro home, or any other home... she will not get into it. However if you do it in those places she will stop it. We have a place here... downstairs do your fighting there." she said with a wave of her hand.
She closed her eyes, she wasn't trying to make an excuse for Astaroth. She just could see things... things that perhaps he had been to young and foolish to take into note at the time. "Astaroth came from a young bloodline. Diana, was his grandsire, she sired his sire, and they sired Astaroth, so besides not having a sire who could teach him he had a grandsire who could not do to top it off, Diana had a shadow sire, one who was barely there. Who was the childe of Xeneri, a childe of Ravenblack... so now. You have a line of vampires who are not teaching those below them. A house which was not yet even born... so you are left with a list of those who can not help... do tell her how he was suppose to help you when he had no one else to turn to? Besides caring does little... look at your little Victoria" she said with a slightly snarl. "A childe with only two powers, just as old as her eldest. Yet she sees no reason to build up those powers. How come is her sire to sweet? Is sire allowing her to fall and learn on her own? Or do you Damon not push hard enough?" She leaned closer her elbows resting on the table. "What are you doing that is wrong with her? Are you not around enough? Or perhaps she's far to busy? She has a lover... her ex-childe Legadored. She pushed him, told him that his, your daughter had to gain powers... one who had already lived over half of year... and had none when she came to meet her. Not a single power and she made it clear she would not protect someone who would not earn and work for it." There was a slight anger in her voice, "and what does he do? Plan against her to kill her? A childe who has never seen the age of war, all because he did not like the idea of his beloved having to work for their powers, the idea that she found him still to young to be binding and more so with someone who was not being true to him at the time... now... you tell her she is wrong for wishing the best? Oh well he would, and she is very sure he still plots, waiting, hoping, but is to scared to do so. Many of them are just that... she has weaken from when they've known her... and do they not take that moment to attack the one whom they hate the most?" She smirked softly at the thought. "No instead they keep plotting, they keep talking about grand things... yet do nothing." she waved her hand.
"There are many ways to raise a childe, no matter what you do Damon, one will find something wrong with it. Perhaps whom they bind too, who they sire... perhaps who they leave... they find something wrong all the time. Something is not good enough, something is missing." she closed her eyes. "So he was not a sire that was good for you, you move on, you find someone who is... and if they turn out wrong you move to the next and so on down the line. Sometimes it takes a long while to come across those they know and meet will change them.. and they will change Damon..."
She looked up "just like the childer whom you sire... they change..." she looked at him slightly. "Now besides that, did he help you learn? Yes. What did you learn? You learned that you required a sire whom you can depend on, who will protect you, who will defend you even when they are facing those whom they know from the start will destroy them if they do such a thing. Astaroth did not protect you, why? Because he was given a clear warning that if he had he would have been killed... you and Madeye-papa... alone." she leaned forward again. "What have we learned from him? Tell her now Damon... what else has he done that you have learned not to do or learned to do it better?"
