Jasmex frowned and looked around the bar. There were men, women, boys and girls all sitting there, chatting, talking about nothing. He was the only person in the entire room who sat alone. Jasmex was a little sad as he watched the others having fun and wished he could do the same. It was hard to describe what it felt like to feel false emotion. Basically, Jasmex had to figure out logically what he should feel, then his brain imagined it and then he felt it.
Right now, his brain was telling him that he should just drink and try to ignore everyone. That's what he did.
While his body still pumped blood through his veins and arteries through some kind of muscular phenomenon that Jasmex couldn't understand, the blood being pumped move much more slowly than it would if he had a heart. That being said, the alcohol was taking much longer to cycle through his body while it waited for his liver to empty so it could enter and be oxidized. In lay-man's terms, when Jasmex got drunk, he got DRUNK drunk.
But he wasn't feeling the effects yet. He just sighed and slammed the bottle against the table. He still felt sad and that made him angry at himself. What did he have to feel sad for? He could make friends easy, even without a heart. But as he looked around, and saw all those people who were perfectly happy to just talk without him, he sighed. What did he have to offer to someone, as a friend?

OOC: sorry for the late reply...
IC:
Nami entered the famed lounge, which she had been frequenting, not so long ago, before she went to a short sleep. She was dressed in a well-pressed black kimono with colorful floral patterns. It was her common piece of clothing, the kimono, and black is none the less her favorite color. It was the color, which she loved best, but right now it doesn't really matter much. Though she looked as young as her body suggest, only thirteen years of age, some of the old occupants know better. Within the frail arms of her body, is her guardian doll, Boogie.
She oxide red colored pupils scanned the environment of the said place. There were mortals and immortals alike, just like before, and many were also very young to be here, she noted as she looked at a bunch of young teenagers chatting away at a corner. She let her eyes wandered at them for a while, some of them eyed her back, taking note that she might possibly be the youngest they have seen in the lounge, as mortals would presume, but what they see doesn't always seem what it truly is. She then gave them back a faint smile as she headed to a corner was she had been used to sit.
"It seems there is already an occupant…" Nami said out loud as if talking to someone else as she look straight at the said occupant. He was young, and new to the blood, she noticed. "You know, liquor wouldn't really make you that much drunk, if you are one of us…" She continued not stopping for an answer.

OOC: Oh crap, I thought I replied days ago. I'm sorry. Here's the post.
Jasmex looked up suddenly. A girl stood before him. She spoke to him, and he was surprised. This stranger had approached him for no good reason. Then he looked down and realized that the reason this table had been empty at a local hang out was probably because it was already claimed by a regular who had not been present, namely, the girl who had addressed him. He felt a bit awkward, but decided to ignore it.
"It uh...it looks like everywhere else is full, huh?" he said airily, and then gestured to the spot across from him. "Please, join me, by all means."
The girl looked to be in her early teens, but she was no doubt a vampiress. Jasmex knew much better than to underestimate a potential threat, but he also didn't pick fights for no reason, so he would just be polite and try to keep her from getting angry at him. He kept his eyes down, because of shyness more than anything else.

OOC: It's okay…
IC:
Nami simply smiled back at the stranger as she took the seat that the young vampire had offered her. "I hope you wouldn't mind me sharing your company with Boogie-chan." She continued on as she was already sat onto the empty chair. She then placed the doll that was once on her lap onto the smooth surface of the table.
From the other corner of the lounge, a waiter simply approached their seat silently as he would with the other customers of the lounge. She beamed back at the said waiter and said, "The usual…"
"It's been a while, ojo-san…" The waiter exclaimed back at her as he took smiled back.
"Yes, it was indeed…" She answered back with a paused. "Let's say I was asleep for a while… just a little while." She giggled back at him.
"Well then I better hurry up with your treat then." He said as he left the two of them.
"Do you wish to have some more?" Nami asked back at the stranger as she noticed the already empty drink of his.

The girl gestured to his glass and asked if he might want it refilled. Jasmex looked down at the empty glass with a sigh. What would a normal person do? Would drinking more be the right choice, while risking the chance of saying something stupid or insulting while intoxicated, or would it be more wrong to refuse the offer and distance himself from her? Though he looked around and saw that everyone was drinking and having a good time. Jasmex nodded to himself. Dining together, drinking together, it was a way of connecting between people, even strangers. He smiled and bowed his head gratefully. "I could use another drink, yes please. If you don't mind."
OOC: Ack! Shortness! But I don't have any time to write longer, I'll make it up next post, promise.

Nami smiled back at the stranger's reply, merely nodding in a pleased manner, the waiter that had taken her order earlier returned back with a glass of what seems to be ice cream. "Here ya go…" He exclaimed as he settled the sweet treat onto the table in front of her. A few of the occupants eyed her strangely. Surely, some of them had already sensed the strangeness that accompanies her.
"Why thank you waiter-kun…" Nami giggled back at him as she took hold of the dainty spoon that accompanies the said treat. She then scooped out a small part of the said treat; the one covered with chocolate syrup and popped it inside her mouth as she slowly parted her lips for its accommodation.
"Is there anything more?" The waiter asked back at her as she watched her eating the treat away.
Nami then settled the spoon down and took out a couple of coins from the pockets of her doll. "Oh, and a drink for this gentleman here." Nami announced as she handed the coins at the waiter.
"And what would you have?" He asked back at the stranger as he took his glass away.
OOC: It's okay…

Jasmex blinked uncomfortably as the young vampiress devoured her weight in chocolate syrup. He found himself thinking that in a rather odd way, she was kind of cute. Not the attractive sort of cute, but the innocent adorable chibi-like sort of cute. Not at all like a parasitic blood-sucking demon spawn, which of course, she was.
The girl removed some coins from the pocket of the doll she carried and handed them over, asking the waiter to order Jasmex a drink. The waiter turned to take Jasmex's order. "Give me a sake, please, as strong as you can mix it," Jasmex requested. The waiter made a note and walked away.
Jasmex turned his attention back to the girl for a moment, before his eyes kind of skewed away. Across the bar, something caught his eye. Another female, much older than the stranger he sat with. She was probably somewhere around Jasmex's age, with long black hair and smooth skin and a thin waist. Jasmex felt some kind of strange reaction to her, unlike any other false emotion he had ever experienced. She interested him. Though he did not know her, he wished to almost instantly. Something about that woman made Jasmex want to ask who she was, but he resisted the temptation, and sat still in his seat. But try as he might, there was something that kept drawing his gaze from the child to the woman. He also felt a bit nervous for some reason and when his drink arrived he took a rather large sip.
"So, that doll you carry, Boogie, was it? Does it speak?" Jasmex asked.

"Is there anything else I could get you, ojo-san?" The waiter asked back at Nami as she gave him a smile before scooping out yet another spoonful of ice cream.
"Hmmm… Nothing more…" She replied back with a giggle, "You may dismiss yourself now."
Though she had promised never to read the thoughts of those whom she knows of, she couldn't help but pry within the stranger's mind for a minute. From his own eyes, she saw the other woman he was eyeing earlier. Other than that she was also able to picked up a thought of her being cute unlike the real parasitic blood-sucking demon spawn that he thinks she is, not that it offends her or so, but she never did like the usual blood dish, of human blood, that her kind hunts. She prefers the blood of other vampires, which she has no intention of revealing to this stranger just yet.
"Are you into her?" She asked back half consciously as she scooped another spoonful, "That woman, I mean…" She added referring to the woman he had eyed earlier.
"Oh, my doll?" She giggled back at him as she petted the hair of the said doll. "Don't be silly, you know dolls can't really talk."
"Oh, and I haven't asked of your name, yet. I am called onto as Nami... and you are?" She asked again, without pausing for an answer from a comment she had made earlier.

The girl, who referred to herself as Nami, laughed teasingly at him when he asked if her doll spoke. "Don't be silly, you know dolls can't really talk." Jasmex nodded, not smiling, and replied, "True enough, but there are stranger things in this city, and I certainly don't want to be left in the dark about anything that others know."
She asked his name, and he hesitated before replying, "People call me Jasmex. A pleasure to meet you, Miss Nami."
Jasmex had purposefully avoided her first question. He wasn't really sure what she meant. "Are you into her?" Jasmex looked over at the other woman. She was...pretty. But in a different way than Nami was pretty. In a more...alluring way, almost..entrancing. Jasmex felt a little odd, and he almost wanted to say her movements, though they weren't even directed at him, were seductive in nature.

"It seems you yourself is also odd in a way or two." She hinted back at him as she scooped another spoonful. "But it is true… there are indeed a lot of oddities running around this city." She smiled back at him before eating the treat away.
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Jasmex-kun."
Thousands of thoughts waded into the air of the lounge as she continued eating; it wasn't hard reading others, mostly newborns and especially humans. The hard part is blocking some of these thoughts away. Focusing her attention only on Jasmex, she lightly pried into his thoughts.
"Well, if you don't wanna talk about it. You could just say so right away." She pouted back smugly.

Nami's words startled Jasmex and the woman's spell was broken. He shook his head and turned back to Nami. "Oh, I'm sorry...I just don't quite understand what you're asking me. The phrase into someone, it means attracted to, right?" He considered the depth of that as he glanced over at the woman again. Her hands rested on her slim waist, her top was perfectly colored to make her skin look less pale, and Jasmex realized that he hadn't noticed she was a vampiress until now. But it was definite now that he was paying attention. Not a powerful vampiress, most of the stronger females in the city were very selective about where they appeared in public, and a place with such weaklings would be unlikely.
"She has a certain feel to her, yes," Jasmex admitted. "Her hair is soft and curled, and her skin is smooth...I've never really paid much attention to anyone before, so I've never dated, but I don't think I'd mind spending time with her."
Jasmex realized that this wasn't how things were supposed to go. He was supposed to idly reply and then bounce a question back at her so that she would answer and they would either learn more about each other or at least get an equal chance to talk. He tried to think of something to say but nothing came to his mind. "Um...do you go to school?" he finally asked.

"I see…" Nami muttered softly in reply as she continued on eating what's left with her sweet treat. By the time Jasmex was describing the said vampire, there is only one-fourth left of delicious treat.
"So she really is attractive." She continued on, just partly paying attention in the process since she had already gotten a glimpsed of the said vampire in his mind. It was quite easy to pry onto, but somehow, she still cannot understand how other's mind works. "Why not try asking her out?" She suggested again. "It wouldn't hurt to do so, you could easily kill her if she shows the signs of doing it to you." She giggled, remembering how she picks her own prey, her own kind, in places where they least expect of it.
"School?" Nami repeated the said word, "Gakuen?" She repeated again in a different language, niponggo. "I've never been to one, even if I was partly human, although I was sort of home-schooled."
"How about you? Have you been into one?"She then asked back.

Nami suggested that Jasmex ask the girl out, which surprised Jasmex so much that he choked on his drink and it slid none too easily down his throat. "Ask her out? I don't even know her name, and she hasn't looked at me once since she came into the bar. And anyway, I'm not a very interesting person, I wouldn't know how to entertain her if she accepted."
As for his question, Nami had replied to the contrary, which was a little unexpected, seeing as she appeared to be at most age thirteen, or possibly fifteen. She asked if he had attended school, and he started to reply that he was twenty years old and therefore didn't need to, but then he considered her wording. She asked "Have you been into one?"
Jasmex was quiet for a moment, lost in thought. "I...don't remember. There are a lot of things I don't remember about myself. Maybe I went to school when I was younger, but my memory is very...limited."

((OOC: Sorry for posting quite late… I had prepared for the ARCHcon (Anime RPG Comics and Hobbies Convention)… as well as attended it yesterday… ^__^ V))
IC:
"Pity…" Nami pouted back as she giggled a bit with regards to Jasmex's reaction. "It would be a waste to let a nice catch slip by." She added as she called the attention of the waiter that had served them earlier with a wave.
"School… I've seen some… but… I've never really been taught into one." She answer with a smile etched upon her lips. "But if you're talking about education, I've been taught by people who knows far more than teachers could." She hinted again. "Why? Why did you ask?"
The waiter then approached them with a smile ready and asked, "Do you need something else, ojo-san?"
"Can I have some more?" Nami asked again as se handed him the already empty glass and some coins in the process.
"Well, my memory has eluded me before as well…" She smiled back at Jasmex. "Do you want some more? Of your drink I mean?" she asked as she gestured at him glass.
