As she walked into the Lounge, Sakura smiled. Her hand placed lightly on her stomach, she wore a long green gown that draped delicately over her curves. The dress was made of silk, and Sakura had picked it out earlier in the year; luckily it was loose around her stomach, so as not to press on the little one. Walking slowly down the steps, trying not to trip on her long train of the backless dress, she looked eagerly around in search of a familiar face. Onh her feet she stilletos in a matching green shade, with a small flower stitched perfectly onto the front. Even though they made her a good two inches taller, Sakura was still tiny with her actual tiney frame being only just 5". She giggled as she looked around seeing that no one else had arrived yet. She was alwyas so eager, and had appeared to have arrived a little early. Making note of this, she sat in the middle of the lounge, and as a waiter came over she ordered a glass of juice. Her head rested gently on her hands, Sakura sat and waited for her family to arrive and wondered what the night would hold in store for her. This time last year was the time she met her ex-finacee Jade, but who knows if maybe another love would find her tonight, one that would last...she didn't know, but she was determinded to have fun with her family.

The evening began much like any other, with Jadeleath standing at the window of her bedroom watching the sunset. It was her little way of bringing her closer to nature, to her dieties. When the last rays faded from the skies it was as though someone had signaled the start of a race. She moved about her room gathering clothing for the night. It was a special night, the birthday of Sakura, the one year anniversary since their meeting. She had picked out the perfect dress, a little black number with red accents. She wanted to look perfect, to bring a smile to the birthday girl's face. She still loved Sakura, even if she knew that their chance was long past. As she readied herself for the party, to see old friends. When she was satisfied with her appearance she took one last glance in the mirror then shifted herself to just inside of the door of the Lounge. Her eyes danced around the area, coming to settle upon the young woman seated in the center. She just stood there gazing at her for a few moments, drinking in her beauty. She'd always been gorgeous, but her pregnancy seemed to bring a new glow to her. Finally she stepped from the shadows and crossed the pub, moving to stand beside Sakura. "You look amazing Sakura love," she whispered in her ear as she leaned down to give her a hug and press a soft kiss upon her cheek, right at the edge of her lips. After the hug she slipped into a seat at her side.

OK so he loved parties and especially those he could crash without getting into trouble. He had watched Jadeleath go in so he had simple followed her. Seeing there were only two people and he knew one of them he knew which one to go to. " Hey pretty one, happy birthday. Here" he said as he gave her the lousy but still wrapped package. The package contained a shirt which he thought she might like and if not he would simple give it to some one else. Then he looked at Jadeleath. " Hey you , what you doing here?" he asked maybe a bit cocky. He looked at her then back at the other woman waiting for her to unwrap her gift he had bought himself and of that he already was proud.

Sakura looked up just as Jade had entered the lounge. Her long black dressed looked perfect on her petite frame, and although she'd changed alot in the past year, Sakura could have almost sworn that it was the night that she'd met her all over again. She looked over and smiled sweetly, bowing her head as she saw her guest. The two had only met twice sinse their brake up, this time included, but Sakura hoped that tonight they'd be able to put the past behind them and start a new life as friends.
As Jade reached over to hug her, Sakura stood up so that she could get a better angle. Then, when Jade kissed her cheek, she smiled, and returned the favour. It felt strange to hold Jade in her arms once more, but very familiar, the hug however was short lived and the pair sat down. "You look lovely too." commented Sakura. Suddenly, looking up Sakura saw a not so famililiar face. The man approaching her seemed to know Jade however, so Sakura felt more at ease. he handed her a present, and Sakura blushed. She felt like she should know who he was, but she'd been away for a while and had missed all sorts of vampires joining, and leaving, the family. Unwrapping the present, she looked up at the man who stood before her. "Thank you." she smiled, it's lovely she said looking at the shirt. Turning to Jade she asked if she'd like a drink, not sure what else to say...it was quite hard to talk without mentioning the past..

I left Dri sleeping in the bed as I got up and dug through the closet to get dressed. I had received an invitation to Sakura's birthday party, if I wasn't mistaken then she was my great-aunt, or so I thought. In any case she was a part of the family and I had started to wonder about the rest of them. I figured the best way to meet more would be to go to parties and such for other members of the family. I pulled out a white button-up shirt from Dri's side of the closet, leaving the top three buttons open to show my neck and the beginnings of my chest and my own striped pants. I think they were called pinstriped but I didn't care, just liked the way they looked. The clothes were perfectly sized and I loved wearing them. Also I loved the attention I got from just wearing them, I suppose it draws attention when you wear clothes that make you look like a playboy. I took down a suit jacket that was actually comfortable and went back to the room, snagging a black hat with a white band as I left the closet. After I put the clothes on I studied myself in the mirror. The collar of the shirt hid most of my black leather collar Dri had put on me but my ring was clearly visible. I smiled and decided the outfit would do. I left the invitation on the bed so Dri would know where I'd gone, slipped my knives it the sheaths on either wrist under the shirt and I twisted my black leather whip around my waist to form a make-shift belt but it keep it out of my way and with a flick of my wrist I could have it unwound and ready to use, though I'd never used it in a fight. I made my way through the house and headed out. A few minutes later I arrived at the lounge. I reached into my inside breast pocket and pulled out the simple black box. I went in just in time to see a young woman in a lovely green dress opening a gift and holding up a cute tee. I didn't recognize her other then the warm thrill from being close to family. The other woman standing close to her was smiling and watched her. I studied her face for a moment but dismissed the look, it was probably nothing. A young male stood on the other side of her and beamed as she held the shirt up, I could only assume it had been his present. I looked him up and down and then shook my head mentally, I was really going to have to stop doing that every time I saw a guy that looked vaugely my age. I approached the young woman in green with a nod for the other woman and a friendly smile for the man and bowed roguishly in front of her. You must be the birthday girl, Sakura. I'm Akane, Dri's childe and fiancee. Happy Birthday." I explained briefly from politeness and looked up with a grin at the last holding out the black box. I wondered if she would like the white gold necklace displayed on the black velvet inside. Woman always liked jewelry, right? I stepped back and took a seat at the table next to hers, straddling the chair to stay turned toward her and the others and not be rube, or give them my back.

When Kenji came up just after her, Jade smiled in a friendly way at him, though it was clear from the look upon her lost love's face that she didn't recognize him. Telepathically she sent Sakura a message, This is Kenji, son of Reese who is your uncle love. Eagerly she looked upon the gift that her friend had brought for Sakura, smiling at the choice. She was just about to place a drink order, since Sakura had offered her one, when another came up. This was a vampyre she wasn't familiar with, though she could vaguely sense a bit of Viral in him. When he introduced himself as Dri's child though, she knew where the sense came from for Viral had mentioned his son to her. It was at that point that she pulled out a box she'd hidden behind her and placed it before her dear Sakura. Inside was two pair of ballet slippers, one that she knew would fit Sakura and another, smaller pair, for the babe she would bear. "I hope you like them love. I know that you will get some use from them," she told her in a soft, purring voice. Her eyes were intent upon Sakura's as she watched her, simply enjoying the sight of her.

In the depths of the Ashenvale manor, the sound of hangers sliding across the rail of his closet rung out through the room set aside for Viral. He was already fully dressed, but still he had a small rummage through the dark hideaway. From the depths he gently pulled out a small package, unmistakably wrapped as a present. The emerald glow of his eyes looked through the twilight of his room, down over his attire. His pale fingertips gently traced over the collar of his smart black shirt, with the top button undone. It allowed a glimpse of his pendant, the metal gleaming in the light. His trousers and belt suitably matched, the smarter shoes which usually gathered dust now finding use in their full glory. A thoughtful hum gently passed his lips, nagging doubts on if he was dressed right for the occasion and if his gift would do. The smallest shake of his head to put some of his dark, shoulder length hair in place and he moved across the room, opening the door with his free hand. He left the door wide open for a certain someone, considering finding them but a glance to the clock told him that there wasn’t enough time. That matter settled he began through the halls to the main door. It seemed a brief few minutes until the Lounge door drifted closed behind Viral, the green light of his eyes quickly finding his dearest sister and a small gathering which he was only happy to see. He hung back, giving a small smile and nod to Akane while he let Sakura see to her other company. Slowly stepping forward he gave Sakura a gentle hug when there was a chance, smiling softly as he offered out his own effort at a gift, quite neatly wrapped. “Happy Birthday Sakura, it’s been too long.” He said, obvious that he was very glad to see her. With a small step back to give her some room he gave a friendly smile to Jade, and a courteous nod to the one vampire present he was not familiar with. “I am glad to see you here grandchilde” Viral said turning his attention back to Akane, a kind smile across his lips as his view swing back to the Birthday girl, finding a spot where he did not neglect anyone present.

She sat in a dark corner at the Ashenvale Manor, her body curled up in a ball, one arm around her knees while the other hand held the invitation she’d been given. Silently she read it over and over, her lips moving with each word. She was torn, not sure if she should go or not. She’d never been invited to a birthday party so she wasn’t familiar with the custom to bring a gift, had she known she would have decided then and there not to go so that she wasn’t embarrassed by not having one. As it was she sat rocking back and forth, her eyes staring at the invitation. The party was for her Master’s daughter, but she was so sad from him not wanting her anymore that it was rare she wasn’t crying anymore. He said he loved her and he wanted to still be her Master, but he didn’t want to love her anymore and the whole thing confused her so much. Then there was Viral. He was one that she loved so very much, he was so nice to her, yet he was unavailable and though he seemed to like her, he didn’t love her. The one thing with him that she was thankful for was that he wasn’t trying to lead her on, pretending to be in love with her. Never had he told her he was, never had he said more than he cared for her. The party was looming closer and closer and still she was torn on if she should go. Both men she loved without question were likely to be there and she didn’t know if she could take it, seeing Z happy there with his new female, seeing Viral standing alone, yet not wanting her. She’d met Sakura once and she’d seemed nice… Finally she raced through the manor to her closet in her Master’s room, her fingers running over this outfit or that as she tried to find something that would be suitable to wear out. Finally she settled upon this cute little green outfit that had brown flecks through it. It was nothing like anything she ever wore and she didn’t even know where it had come from, but she thought it might be suitable for the party. Hastily she dressed, letting her dark curls frame her face and shoulders. Unsteadily she slid her feet into a pair of darker shoes then she set off, her tail hanging from the bottom of the dress. She ran through the city, following every back alley that she knew to try and get to the party. When she stepped inside she immediately smelled the scent of the Ashenvale family, her eyes darting to the girl she’d met before, plus that Jade lady who was friends with her Master and whose son had tried to tell her she didn’t have to be a pet. Then there were a couple of men she didn’t know and lastly was Viral. Her luminescent eyes settled upon him and she froze in place like a deer in the headlights. She wanted to turn and run away again, but instead she backed against a wall, her body cast in the shadows as she just stood there, her eyes upon him, her cat ears standing up straight.
