History Info:
When Rose turned 14, she discovered her parents took drugs. She went into a short depression before coming out to help her brother. He had joined a gang and wars were becoming worse between his gang, and others. Gun wars had begun in Rose’s neighborhood and had put her brother in danger. She had told him to get out, but he had refused.
By the age of 16, Rose had joined the gang to save Derik, her brother, and to be his protector. He had moved away from his home and had taken Rose with him, not wanting the drug affected parents to hurt her in anyway. It was one mission, one job that would change Rose’s life. And her brother’s. The worse they had gone through were drive-bys.
Rose and Derik were in the car, driving to the mission site. Guns were in their laps, ready for the unexpected. But the unexpected sneaked up on them. Driving through the L.A. traffic lights, a truck came sliding around the corner, nearly hitting Rose and Derik’s car. Derik swerved to the side, narrowly missing a pedestrian and breaking through a fence. The car went through the wall of the house which had, to Rose, appeared out of nowhere.
Rose awoke in a dark warehouse, her brother lying next to her. One of Derik’s mates had seen the crash and dragged them into his car, taking them from the crash site. He had made sure to grab their guns, as the police would have found their prints otherwise. Steve had nursed them back to health. It had been 2 weeks and their gang leader was searching for them, thinking they had betrayed him.
Derik wanted to go back and apologize, and as Rose protested, he left her with Steve. That night, Rose found out he had been shot and killed. That’s when Rose lost it. First she stopped eating, and then she left Steve, who had come quite attached to her company. She wondered L.A. for a long time, keeping a low profile so Steve couldn’t find her. She never wanted to be found.
Rose was found though, by an old school friend of hers. Her name was Lenora. Rose met her while she was walking down the street, mainly sticking to the shadows as Rose was doing. But for a whole different reason. She later discovered Lenora had become a vampire and, much to her surprised, Lenora told her where it had happened. Ravenblack.
That’s when Rose started learning about vampires, and Ravenblack. She thought she could have a better life, well, unlife. Lenora gave her as much information as she could remember, including directions and the surrounding area. In return, Rose protected Lenora during the day and night. She would watch Lenora hunt but would leave when she had found her victim. She would sleep near Lenora, not wanting her old friend to die from any hunters.
When 2 years had passed, Lenora left one night. She said she would be back, but when Rose checked her room, she knew she wouldn’t return. A note on Lenora’s bed explaining that it was becoming dangerous for her. But all the same, Lenora had wished Rose good luck and left her money. Much more than Rose needed.
When Rose reached Ravenblack, she had nearly changed completely. She had become a young woman and knew how to take care of herself like a 30-year-old did. She also knew more than a 30-year-old. The dangers she had encountered on her journey just made her stronger and she had never looked back.
Finally in Ravenblack, she meet had met Raven Maeve. After getting to know her, Rose hinted that she wanted to become a vampire. That’s when Rose’s real life began. Her vampiric life. This wasn’t what she had thought it to be though. It became hard to make friends among the undead and she had lost contact with Raven. It was a very long time until she heard something from Raven, and that was when she was meeting her grandsire and great-grandsire. Raven had merely left a note saying she was leaving.
Rose changed a lot after that. Her appearance was not the same and she changed how she felt. She was no longer shy and had moved into the Crystal Tower after Aneres had invited her.
Songs that interest Rose:
Pain-Three Days Grace
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
You're sick of feeling numb
You're not the only one
I'll take you by the hand
And I'll show you a world that you can understand
This life is filled with hurt
When happiness doesn't work
Trust me and take my hand
When the lights go out you will understand
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Anger and agony
Are better than misery
Trust me I've got a plan
When the lights go off you will understand
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing
Rather feel pain
I know (I know I know I know I know)
That you're wounded
You know (You know you know you know you know)
That I'm here to save you
You know (You know you know you know you know)
I'm always here for you
I know (I know I know I know I know)
That you'll thank me later
Pain, without love
Pain, can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Rather feel pain than nothing at all
Rather feel pain
Side Of A Bullet-Nickelback
Uncle Sam taught him to shoot
Maybe a little too well
Finger on the trigger, loaded bullet
He hit the stage so full of rage
And let the whole world know it
Six feet away, they heard him say
"Oh God, don't let him pull it"
Please God, don't let him pull it
How could you put us through it?
His brother watched you do it
How could you take his life away?
(What made you think u had the right?)
How could you be so full of hate?
(To take away somebody's life)
And when I heard you let him die
And made the world all wonder why
I sat at home and on my own,
I cried alone
And scratched your name
On the side of a bullet
And in the wake of his mistake
So many lives are broken
Gone forever from a loaded bullet
And no excuse that you could use
Could pull somebody through it
And to this day so many say
"God why'd you let him do it?"
How could you let him do it?
How could you put us through it?
His brother watched him do it
How could you take his life away?
(What made you think u had the right?)
How could you be so full of hate?
(To take away somebody's life)
And when I heard you let him die
And made the world
all wonder why
I sat at home and cried alone
and on my own
I scratched your name
On the side of a bullet [X3]
