'Throughout the years, I have gained knowledge... vast amounts of knowledge. I became one of the most intelligent of men around the villages and others longed to have me lead their armies. Now, I didn't turn down the offers, but I did build an army of my own. As the wealthy wanted my skills, the poor wanted my head. Only now... I'm not the only one who's wanted. Being a vampire has made my life no different, well other than loosing all hope of ever returning to my Hellhound life.
I am still being hunted, though it's not so much by the poor of this city, but the greedy wealth. They do meet their end, a most bloody one at that.' His thoughts were interrupted by a band of drunkards singing songs of laying maidens and whatnot. Seppuku snorted at the display made and stood up from the bar and made his way over to one of the back tables, near the stage. He absently pulled out a thin metal flask and from that flask, a cigarette.
As he placed the flask back in his pocket, he removed a metal lighter from the same pocket. As he lit the cig, he watched the humans at the bar. Soon, smoke fronted his vision. "Feh," he sneered and made sure the lighter was snug back in the pocket. He reached down and used one of his slim fingers to pull over a small ashtray.
He took another drag on the cig and kept his eyes over by the bar. It wasn't long before a waitress came up to his table; "Can I get you something, sir?" Seppuku raised his eyebrow and shifted his gaze towards the woman. "Hai, just a beer is fine," he answered and returned his gaze back to the bar. His vision was blocked yet again by the young waitress. His lip curled in grimace as she walked by him again, this time coming back to his table with the beer he ordered.
"Here you are, sir. That will be one coin." Seppuku pulled a coin from his pocket and flipped it up towards the woman. When she caught the coin, an amused smile played his lips as he waved his hand for her to leave him. He wrapped his hand around the cool long neck and twisted the tin cap and took the opening to his lips. The ice-cold beverage chilled his throat and tongue. He licked his lips as he removed the bottle and sat it down in front of him.
He absently wiped the sweat, from the bottle, onto his baggy blue jeans before reaching up to toy with the collar of his black silk button up. He took another drag on his cig before putting it out with a light sigh. "Just another night," he whispered to himself just before his cell phone rang.
"Hello?" Seppuku answered calmly. "Midnight! What's going on?" Seppuku gave a heavy sigh and leaned back in the chair, "I'm trying to relax." His voice was dripping with annoyance by this point. The voice on the other line was somewhat... slurred. "Oops! Sorry, man. I'll call you back later then!" With that Seppuku closed the phone, ending the conversation. 'I wouldn't doubt it...' He thought and turned the phone off before slipping it back into his pocket.
He reached for the beer again and took down a couple more gulps before hearing the Lounge door open. His icy gaze shifted up towards the entrance and slowly placed the bottle down.
